Ok, I'm new around here, so of course feel free to take my post as you will, but I can't help but chime in.
First, backstory.
I'm a total newbie to vaping. Actually, as of this posting, I've still never vaped. Ever. And, as a newbie, I did the dumb thing and put in an order with blu. On 6/29. 3 and a half weeks later, I simply got impatient with blu not shipping, and started looking for alternatives. Thank god I did, I learned a LOT (thanks to these fantastic forums). My girlfriend and I decided on an M401 as an alternative since it was close to the blu in size, and like most newbies, we want close to an analog size to start off with.
In my search for alternatives, I came across an article about blu, stating that the company is based in Charlotte, NC - where my girlfriend and I live. "Great!" I thought, "maybe we can pick our order up and be done with it!". No such luck. I contacted blu, and of course was met with a response that I wasn't able to pick up my order, and no one there could pull their head out their bum enough to approximate when my order would finally be shipped. Too bad for them, I cancelled on the spot.
Now, to start my search for a site for our M401. Thankfully I found a suppliers guide on the M401 forum and promptly started looking through websites. I found MyFreedom, their price was awesome. They had all the accessories I could ever need, liquid in flavors/strengths/sizes I could use, and seemed like all-around the best place to go for my needs. I checked this very forum and saw nothing but good reviews on their customer service and shipping, so my order went in.
Now, I have a bad habit of having about a gazillion tabs open on my browser at a time. An hour or so after placing my order, I went back to clean up tabs and one that was still open was a page on this forum, on a post made my Chris of MyFreedom. I happened to glance at his location... NC. Huh, weird I thought. Another tab I had left open was the receipt page for my purchase. It listed a contact number for Chris... with my area code. So very, very strange. I whipped up a quick email to Chris to get a feel about where he was and if I might possibly maybe might be able to arrange a pickup.
Within an hour and a half, I had gotten an email back, stating that he was in the area, I can pickup, and he gave me his number to call him. I got excited, and called immediately.
After a bit of talking (which felt much more like I was talking to a new friend than a business I'd just ordered from), we came to the realization that he visits a post office daily not but a few minutes from where I live, and offered to bring my order with him tomorrow night, and without me ever asking, offered to remove the shipping costs.
I have never in my life dealt with anyone that I was doing any kind of business at all with at all as kind and helpful as Chris. From the very first contact I had with him he treated me as an equal and a friend rather than a customer. I have not even touched his product yet, and I can guarantee all of my business in PVs will be his business, and anyone I convince to try PVs will be his business as well.
The TL;DR version - Don't hesitste to buy from MyFreedom. Not for a second.
