So I noticed today after cleaning my tank and putting fresh juice in that the color was much clearer as opposed to my topping off my tanks with juice. Wondering if there is a difference in flavor when topping off or refilling. I have been always just topping off my tanks and wondering if I should wait until it's just about empty to refill... what say ye?

I personally don't notice any difference in taste. But it seems the "lower" the levels of juice in the tank are before you refill/top off, the more chance the previous juice has "carmelized" due to heat.
Not all the components in e-liquid is vaporized, so those that are not vaporized remain in the tank. Coils and wicks get crudded up with gunk, which can leach back into the tank.
So yes, refilling will taste better than just topping off. Do I always refill, no. The difference in flavor is minimal.

Well that makes sense. When I top off I usually have to shake the tank some with one of my juices to get the color to mix.
I have s regular weekly cleaning schedule. Once a week I'll vape my tanks empty then break down and give them a thorough cleaning. The rest of the week I just top off
