I have been topping mine off after the initial syringe fill. That's what I'm used to with my Boge 2.0's. I have the echo e cartos for my eGo, so they hold just a bit less liquid. I am a noobie here, but isn't it best to play it safe rather than take a chance letting it get too dry and burn?

Also, I never know when I'll have to run out of the house unexpectedly, and I want a nice full carto to take along.

I vape mine until the vapor starts to decrease and usually get a few drops short of 3 ml on a refill. I get a few drops short of 3.5 ml on a new carto. I haven't had any burnt taste or vaped one completely dry yet.
I would be sure to remove the carto from the battery if I was topping off very often because you don't want to get any juice down in an auto battery.:2cool:

Thanks for the input guys. There seems to be a common experience here. After too much aggravation with the tanks, I tried a few different cartos and found the Boge 2.0 to be the best alternative in cost/performance/convenience. Honestly I could live with Boge's for the rest of my life but I keep hoping to find that holy grail. The Echo is a fine carto but I think I will be keeping Boge's in my stash for a long time.

I am not completely sold on the echo e cartos, either. I haven't quite made up my mind whether I prefer the Boge 2.0's or the echo's. All in all, I think I prefer my 2.0's for everyday. And I like the echo-e when I am out and about and it's not convenient to top off. Not sure if I want to give up that nice warm drag and th. Here's my list. I guess everything's a trade off.
Echo e's
Pros: large capacity, good taste, good, but cooler vapor, supposedly last 100 refills, seem to be very reliable.
Cons: less th, more expensive.

Boge 2.0's
Pros: better taste IMO, better th, nice warm vapor, very reliable, less expensive.
Cons: smaller capacity, need to top off more often.

I'm trying to fix my reject stuff with a little diy by adding a bit more pg,vg to weaken the flavor I've got, and, depending on what's wrong with the taste, add something to improve it. I have everything I need to start some serious diy-ing.

How much ya got? What flavors, strength, company, etc... You should put your stuff in the classified and swaps, Classifieds and swaps

Mixing flavors can be great fun, especially when finding a good blend of liquids that were otherwise collecting dust.

Example, I had some cinnamon roll that was painfully strong on the cinnamon. Also had some apple that was very weak on throat hit. Mixed them together and boom, it tasted like Apple Jacks.

Hey, there's an idea for a new thread. What is your most unusual blend that ended up being a tasty vape?

JJ :)

Go start it. I'm willing to bet it will be one of those never-ending threads that you can't stop reading... And I can only imagine the horror stories...
