Just currious when your tank goes empty do you guys do you notice a loss in flavor just topping off? Rewicking every night gets a bit old but do you sacrifice taste or clean and rewick each tank? I never seem to make it more than 2 days before tearing it down to rewick. I also notice a difference in taste if I dont dump and clean the tank. Even if not changing flavor. Anyone else notice that or is it in my head?

I never run my tanks completely down, but I don't notice any flavor being lost.
If I was in your position, taking a couple minutes to rewick is worth it to keep the taste of your e-juice there.
There are times when I do a juice review, I am rewicking an RDA 5 times in the matter of an hour to get the taste from fresh cotton from each juice.

I don't personally notice this, but I wouldn't say it's in your head. We all taste a little differently, so you may be noticing a difference.

I have 7 Kayfun Lites, 6 Kayfun v4s, and 3 Subtank minis on my tank stand right now. I re-wick each one after 1-2 day's usage on any of them. A "day's" usage can be anywhere from 4-6 hours depending on when I swap to a new tank. The Subtank minis and the v4s are easy to simply remove the RBA section and rewick. I bought a Kayfil for my Kayfun Lites so I can pull off the RBA section without having to empty the tank. Rewicking takes about 5 minutes at most on any of them. I can usually start to taste the burnt juice when it is time.

Well I use NET juices. No matter what this type of juice gunks the coils, FAST. I get from 1 to 3 tanks on my Kayfun Nano tank. Before I have to change my cotton ball wick. I could just rinse it out and get another day from the wick most time. But yanking the old one and sticking new material in is faster.

I find the tank is more prone to burning when the juice runs out, and the taste does drop off at below 1/3 of a tank. I look to refill when the drop occurs.

I use nickel based wire / nickel alloys - Ni200 and Nichrome 80. Haven't had gunking with my coil builds yet. Especially when I build my fused claptons with my N80 (24 parallel with 36 wrapped over). As far as rewicking my Ni200 build. I will if I get a flavor stuck in the wick.

But the keyword I missed if TANK. I just refill. Over time I get the flavor out and I haven't had issues with gunking in any of my tanks yet as they mostly run Ni200 wire in them.

i like to have at least two tanks on the go all the time with different flavors and i will just change tanks when the flavor starts to drop off then go back to the first and so on just to keep my taste buds active

this helps take all the load of just one tank and will also help you know when its not just your taste buds that notice the lack of flavor and your tanks need some form of servicing be it just rewicking , cleaning , or coils etc

depending on how heavy i vape will depend on how often in need to rewick etc

doing it this way with mutiple tanks i can go days and just top off my tanks no need to do anything else

then when its time i just rinse my tanks in warm water to clean quick dry and check coils and rewick refill and i ready to go again all in around 5-10 mins max

i havnt be vaping that long and when i started i was rewicking every day almost when i got my wicking technique perfected due to plenty of practice it lasts me a lot longer now

it helps to have at least two tanks on the go so you change flavors from time to time and not become numb to just one flavor

I rewick every 1-2 tanks depending on the size of the tank and the juice in it. Some are quicker than others. The Lemo, Prometey,.Spheroid, eXpromizer and Phenomenon Lite are all quick and easy. Duals (or 3 or 4 coils) take longer as does the Roses and Eviva-ts. Five minutes to clean, rewick and fill is worth it to me for a better vape.

I top off when my tank gets a third down, I find that if I let it get lower than that the liquid heats up too much and the flavor changes a bit especially in sweet flavors with higher pg.

I never just re-wick, I usually make 5 coils at a time, get the cotton ready to wick and store them in a hard plastic case that came with my mini screwdriver set along with some small scissors/fine tweezers/screwdriver so the don't get squished.
