Topless Naked Cool Carts

So I'm loving the cool carts. They burn much cooler than the other premiums and they last longer for me. I love the rubber tops because I can just pull them out easily and pop in my drip tips.

Because they burn so much cooler I can actually use them without the label as an insulator so I've been pulling the labels off and goof offing the remaining glue (when I pull the labels off of the regular premiums they heat up so fast after a couple of drags) and they look so much cooler as just metal on my stainless steal mod and v4l seems to never have the color I want in stock. :p

So now I have a ritual, I open up a fresh pack of cool carts, remove all their rubber tops and labels, goof off the lot of them and recap them and put them in my "togo" kit. It's a good 30 minute drill that I do once every few weeks when I run out of the previous batch. Seems like a waste of effort to get the carts back to their original state, plus the worry of getting some goof off in the batting and accidentally vaping it.

I was wondering if I'm the only one or if there are others that might be interested in having topless naked blank cool carts (without the label and rubber tips) as an option in the drop down? It would save me a few steps and this way everything would be good to go for more advanced users!

I'm still wondering how people keep their different flavors seperated. Guess you can tell by the taste or put in a certain place in their kit. One of the left is A, then B. Although now that you mention it bare would avoid the little slivers of wrapper that can form on the carto tip from time to time.

Do these fit a 510 site doesnt say also no ohm rating so I'm assuming the cool cartos are a higher ohm thats why they are cooler?

Well I'm am actually 8 months smoke free (as of today actually, wow I just noticed that) and the first few months were trying out all the flavors, but now that I've found my favorites I will usually just open a 30ml bottle and roll with it for about a week which is usually about 2 cool carts for me. I don't really need to distinguish between carts but when I do I usually only have 2 carts floating around anyway so it's not that hard. And some flavors actually make the transition pretty good too. Blueberry cart switches over to apple without any ill effects, etc.

I think cool carts are the same ohm as premium (which I understand to be low resistance cartomizers). They make my 3.7v device produce as much vape as my 5.0v devices with regular carts. They don't burn as hot as premiums though so they don't burn my lips as much. I don't know how all that translates to ohms and resistance, I dropped all that info out of my head when i left college.

I'm right there with ya! I think just as an option for the blanks would be really, really sweet! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/107688-ever-think-selling-blanks-without-sticker.html

You know what? I actually was just reading through that thread and had deja vu, I think I read it before a couple weeks ago, I totally missed that and for some reason didn't post there (was probably reading it on one of my vape breaks). Glad to see there is some interest in the idea, I hope that they take a look at it as it would save me a ton of hassle!

p.s. your smily broke the link (i fixed it in the quote above)

Hueysds what's the best method you have found for getting the sticky stuff left behind by the labels off?

My method for removing the stickers is this:

1. Remove sticker
2. douse a paper towel in goof off (or goo gone or whatever, available at home depot, we always have some under the sink by the cleaning supplies)
3. Roll the sticky cart in the paper towel a couple of times to get it nice and coated (I leave the rubber end cap in at this point to help keep any excess goof off out of the cart, I might actually start using 2 of the plugs for this too just because I'm really paranoid about the goof off getting into the cart and accidentally vaping it)
4. Use a dry paper towel to remove the glue that has been released by the goof off
5. Repeat as necessary
6. As a final step, once all the glue is off I roll the cart in a wet paper towel and dry it with a fresh one just to get any of the remaining goof off off.

Now you have a nice shiny stainless steal cart that looks good on an all stainless mod. I've also noticed that the cool carts have a K etched into them. I usually do them in batches of 5 and they will last me for a couple of weeks (1 cart lasts me 3-4 days) by topping off the carts with my drip tips in.

Sidenote: the cool carts seem to pack the filler all the way to the top so it seems like it hits the bottom of the drip tip. I haven't had any real problems with this but I also have a modified t-tip with the funnel on both ends of it. If it becomes an issue for anybody just back your drip tip out a little so that the rubber gasket is still in the cart but you have a millimeter or two above it exposed. This should give you some room to let the juice soak in. And always drip the cartomizers at a 45 degree angle.

hueysds have a sec to tell me about your favorite mod(s) that accept these carts? I like the carts (I refill etc) but the lifespan of the cig looking type batteries I have been using is starting to become an issue (can you tell how new I am at this? lol) Thanks:unsure:

A quick pic to show how nice the stripped cool cart looks...

I like the way it looks. BTW, what is the device in the picture? the PV?

Few months ago I would have posted the pic of the full mod and not worried about it, but these days all the noobs get all offended when posting other supplier's products in different supplier's subforum, I'll send you a PM. I miss the non-political forum days (which is why I'm not around much anymore). I only order v4l cartos and juice but that's not enough for people anymore.

I would love the coolcarts without a sticker. I chomp on my carts and the sticker gets pretty chewed up and ragged.

I didn't have any goo gone stuff around, pulled the sticker off two carts, rubbed with some veggie oil, then alcohol, then dry paper towel. It wasn't the best way to do this, but it eventually worked and I have 2 nice silver coolcarts to use!

The no sticker / no top may even save V4L a little bit of cash in the mfg process.

I'd be in for 50 of the (nekkid) cools right away.. I hate having to remove the stickers and glue.. whata PITA... I like the Premiums occasionally but they run a little hot and don't seem to have quite the life of the cools..

Never have a probelm remembering the flavors. I'll vape one for a while and when I switch it's usually for a week or so. Don't typically use different flavors at the same time.

+1 on 50 off the batt, I might even go 100 actually. Then I would be set for life! Or at least the end of the year... ;)

EDIT: Oh wait, just did the math, maybe I'll just stick with 50 for the first order...
