TopTank Mini - Dry Hits

Hey guys -

So I got my kanger toptank (just like the subtank but with a top fill, FYI) to stop leaking now that I've added enough cotton to prevent it coming out the air holes. But now I'm getting some pretty nasty dry hits with high vg juice. Anyone have any luck fixing this? I've tried a pancake wick before but it ended up leaking all over the place, so I don't think that's the way to go. My build is 26g kanthal, 5 wraps, about .5ohms, and about 1-1.5cms of cotton on each side. Willing to try anything!

I don't have problems with pancake wicking that's the only thing that's kept me from dry hits on a kanger rba.

Try pushing/pulling a little bit of cotton out of
each of the two RBA juice holes. Just enough
to prevent excess juice from seeping inside.

Adding more cotton will give you nasty dry hits.
Tried that myself once.
