as anyone who owns the tornado knows, if you wanna use a titan charger to charge the tornado you have to buy the adapter, well i made an order of multi-pack tornado batteries which only have a 48hr doa warranty, well i forgot the charger adapters in my order, so i called the merchant right after my purchase and had 2 adapters added to my order and paid for them, well low and behold my order arrives and no charger adapters, it was friday afternoon and they aparently leave early so basically if i dont figure something out i'll be past my 48hr doa return policy by monday.
so here is what i did, i had 2 titan wall chargers, so i hacked one up to get me by till i can get the real charge adapters
1. first take apart the case as best you can, the entire edge is glued together, i just pryed mine apart but a heat gun may work to help soften the glue
2. remove the circuit board and the little black plastic thing holding the threads for the battery and trim the plastic back to those threads but be careful not to let it fall apart as its a pain to put back together.
3. while you have the circuit board out of it, use something to hold both halves of the case back together(i used zip ties), and drill out the existing hole as needed to allow the tornado battery to fit( about a 5/8" hole is fine)
4. place the circuit board back in the case and place both halves of the case back together to test it out, first try inserting the battery and making sure the button doesnt get depressed on the enlarged hole, the plug it in and make sure all is well, if it is then go ahead and glue the case back together..
5. pics to follow as soon as i get over 15 posts in the meantime maybe you can just go here, change hxxp to http
