Tornado/eGo cone - airflow mod?

I like the way my Tornado looks with the cone attached, but I find that it seriously stifles the airflow. All of the incoming air has to be pulled from the little gap between the cone and the atty, rather than directly from the sides. As a result, I never use the cone anymore. It works better without it, but doesn't look nearly as nice.

I'm curious if anyone has had any luck modding the cone by somehow drilling little air-holes in the side by the threads, near the atty's air-holes. I don't have the equipment to make the mod myself, but if someone were selling cones with such a mod, I'd be first in line to buy one!

some have gound off the end of the cone (by the mouthpiece) little by little to combat this if you dont like it

You can also loosen the cone by a little (1/4 to 1/2 turn) to gain more airflow.

When I was using my ego with the cone on, I'd drill the 2 holes on the sides of my atties a bit bigger, worked well.

I don't think you need to modify the cone, just loosen it a little like TWolf said.
