Canvape already had some issues doing this in the past at that location so would be surprised if they did it again.

I'm done ranting for today :)

Wile I no longer work for Canvape I did at the time this "supposed" to have happened and I can assure you it didn't. I can also assure you that because of the totally untrue accusation Canvape tightened up it age restriction.

So please get the story correct before spreading unfounded rumors. Thank you

And now I am done with my rant :)

Regarding the troubles that would arise for every vaper if doctors began prescribing e-cigs to youth,
if e-cigs were handled by vendors the same way as smokes are now there shouldn't be a problem.

Of course there will always be those vendors that are just out for the bucks that sell to kids now and shouldn't.
They will not go away, but at least the kid would have a choice between smoking or vaping.

Neither a good choice for youngsters but had e-cigs been around when I was a young smoker and been available as an option alongside stinkies, I might not have the health issues I find myself facing today.

I'd hate to see a kid get hooked on nic. and vape for the rest of their lives, but I believe it would still be a better option than cigs. It's an option we never had as youngsters. Obviously the best option is to abstain completely.
Telling a kid they can't do something doesn't always produce the desired outcome.

The same reasons that make e-cigs work for us ex-smokers are the same reasons they could get and hook a youngster
for the rest of their lives.

It is a very touchy subject, for many valid reasons. It's easy to see why our gov. doesn't want to touch it.
They're not even using "kid gloves".(or are they?)

Now on to the subject of abortion and rights.......j/k.:vapor::vapor:

You won't catch me telling anyone that vaping is for smoking cessation... that takes it from being an alternative to a medical aid... no thanks...

Unless you're speaking at a Health Canada hearing on behalf of the industry, I'm not sure that level of caution is required. Everybody knows why we're using this stuff. No need for silly lies.

In markham and richmond hill (suburbs of T.O.) there are LOTS of private businesses where they won't allow it. On the one hand it makes sense to me because it might make some of the other patrons uncomfortable.

On the other - some of these places I think might benefit from allowing it because I'm not the only vaper going outside between pints.

In markham I had a cop ask me to put it away IN A PUBLIC PARK. I was asked to stop smoking a cigar in the same park a few years ago. It miffed me more about the cigar at the time - I supposed I've mellowed since then...

Theres a non-profit I volunteer with. When i asked I was told no. Was told it had to do with 'scent-free' policy - although I noticed that the scent free policy did not seem to apply to some stinky patchouli scented filth an employee there wears frequently.

There are some people who are afraid of anything that looks like smoke - and seem immune to the idea that something that looks like smoke might not be smoke. yargh. ignorance can be found in many places and sometimes in people who claim to be 'tolerant' of many things.

I dont get any grief anywhere in the Vancouver area. If I am at a restaurant/pub I always ask first. If I am in a park I will vape unless there are children nearby. I get a weird look every now and then but that is. Most are just curious as to what it is or they know what it is and ask questions about it which I am happy to answer.
