Has anyone on here tried Torque 56 from Halo? I tried it and at first it had a kind of chemical taste but after it steeped for a few days it had the worst still green on the vine bitter grape flavor you can imagine. I wonder if I got a bad batch. It was the first refill I ordered and about made me go back to analogs. I was afraid they would all be that way but know now that they are not. Any input on this?

I ordered a sample from them and I had to get rid of it. Every flavor I tried tasted the same ,like doggy do. I think you are either a Halo fan or you are not. It is THE nastiest tasting juice I have tried and that is a fact. Good luck finding some good juice. I just ordered from want2vape and from highbrow, hopefully they will be much better.

I have tried a number of Halo juices and found these results...

All four of these juices tasted like ginger to me...
1) Freedom
2) Torque 56
3) Bella Vallente
4) Smooth 8

The only difference between them, to me, is how much ginger I tasted, and I ranked them from least to most.
I'm not much of a fan of that ginger flavor, and don't really like these juices that much.

I have also tried the following juices where I do not detect that ginger taste...
1) Tribeca
2) Prime 15

The Tribeca is an RY4 variant as far as I am concerned, and it is one of the sweetest ones I've tried.
Way too sweet for me, although many love it.

The Prime 15 is a 555 variant and it has a very nice peanut flavor with some tobacco hints in the background.
This juice I really like, and would be more than willing to buy it again.

Your mileage may vary.
And your tastebuds may not work the same as mine.
:)

EDIT: And I should add that these juices DO need to steep awhile
EDIT: The flavors will change over time

I just go some of the Torque 56, and I loved it from my very first hit. To me, it has a nice,
light cigar flavor. Maybe the recipe changed? Then again, I prefer tobacco flavors over the
dessert flavors. My only problem with the Halo liquids is that they are more expensive than
most others. I'll have to wait until they run a special before I buy more. I might try the sampler
that has mostly tobacco-ish flavors.

Halo is probably one of my favorite vendors. They are a little pricey, but I think its worth it. Not a brand for everyone, but it just depends on your taste.
I just got 3 30ml bottles of Tiki Juice in yesterday :D

Midnight apple is another one that I really like too. Since I quit smoking I lean more towards the sweeter flavors it seems.

For me, Halo more than any other vendor needs their juices to steep. Some of them undergo DRAMATIC flavor changes in 2 weeks to a month on the shelf. I also agree that finding flavors you like can be a long, grueling process. 8 months in, I've narrowed it down to six, with 40-50 that won't get reordered at best, won't get vaped a second time at worst...

Wow, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and taste is subjective.

I vaped Torque 56 for years and introduced others to it and they love it. In my opinion all the Halo Flavors are very distinctive.

I only dropped Halo because I developed a PG allergy and an allergy to artificial ingredients. So I've switched to
organic 100% VG Juice.

Halo, good review here:

For some reason, Halo asked me if I wanted to try a sample of any of their juices. I got Tribeca and Prime 16. Halo's juices come in a beautiful glass bottle with a dropper that makes it easy to fill things.

Tribeca is a nice, dry tobacco flavor. It reminds me a bit of DK-Tab and 555. I like it!

Prime 16 could easily be an all day vape. It's a mellow, rich tobacco.

I didn't steep these, they are fine right out of the bottle, in my opinion.

Good stuff.

From Halo's site

What is the PG/VG ratio of your e-liquid?
This is proprietary information which we are unable to share at this time. There are many companies looking to duplicate Halo e-liquid, and we prefer not to offer any specific information regarding ratios or specific ingredients.

Whatever it is, they still get my business.

I've been vaping for about 3 months now. I have about 200mil of juice i don't like, their all tobacco flavors. I discovered halo's torque 56 about 3 weeks ago and really like. Though its not the cig flavor that i'm still looking for. Tried their prime 16 too,
found it to be just moldy tasting.
Are you letting them steep first?
