I'm a bit put off by Halo/JB's comments to Badfish20, Badfish20 expressed "his" opinion in response to my inquiry (me being one of Halo's paying customers) - plus we all know taste is subjective to the individual.

Reviews/inquiries (pro or con) should be viewed for what they are "an individuals opinion" not a ding or bash against a business (e-juice is no different from other businesses, I don't understand why offense is taken by a pro/con discussion on a public sub-forum where it should be appropriate to discuss the Halo juices I recently purchased).

I'll try the juice again as I purchased 3 bottles, sometimes time or extended use changes ones view. If I enjoy the flavor I'll buy more, if I don't I'll move on.

Halo/JB, if one views this Halo sub-forum they can see that Halo has a fan base who enjoy your various flavors, I was simply looking for what others subjectively taste and your current and past customers responded w/their view.

Thank you to those who responded w/your opinion.

Some people like the juice, but people obviously taste maple and other flavors. So either your mixing is inconsistent, or maybe peoples taste buds are broken. But I have never had an unfiltered maple cigarette before.

As of yet, I have not found a juice that tasted like a cigarette; unfiltered, regular, menthol or any other kind. What I have found in my Halo TruePure is a juice that satisfies me all day long everyday. Taste is definitely individual, and perhaps the Freedom or Torque 56 are not the flavors for you. And perhaps maple flavor is a flavor you do not care for.

There are places on this site to request opinions on liquids. I posted on another vendor's forum that I did not like their cartomizers, and I received a pm that let me know that it was not appreciated on their private forum. And so what I have learned is that if I like something from a vendor, I put it on their forum; if I don't I put it elsewhere on this site. I have not ever put on a vendor's forum an insult to their creativity.

I agree with you to a certain extent. I much prefer the vendor forums that are more relaxed and criticism is tolerated. My stance on that is known elsewhere.

HOWEVER: From JB's point of view, to work that hard and have your juice compared to DeKang is tough. You'd have to have alligator skin to let that one slide off you, or Teflon. It was a little harsh. And to his credit, I have not seen JB get bent out of shape at all unlike a good portion of the other vendors.

I think you could ask 50 people there opinions on taste and get 50 different answers. Torque 56 is my favorite of the Halo Juices followed by Freedom and Truepure. That being said I'd say I've never tasted any juice that simulates an actual Marlboro. The Halo Juice for me is the best juice in terms of quality and flavor. Dekang juices are just nasty in comparison in my opinion and if I had to pick a runner up Johnsons Creek would be my second go to supplier followed by JuicyLiquid.com in third.
I like the Torque 56 for a tobacco taste ( closest thing I've found ) although to be honest the Bella has to be by far the closest thing to an actual cigar I've tasted in an e-juice. Not being a cigar smoker it's simply to strong for my taste.
I've found the flavor to be consistant with each bottle since Halo started.

First impressions. Halo = I'm very intrigued. I ordered pure cig from FSUSA and it was like an ash taste. Got sweeter with time (probly just my taste buds getting used to it). Ordered 5 "tobacco" flavors from VaporsEtc and they all tasted like very sweet syrup. HALO FREEDOM.....HOLY CIGAR BATMAN! I like it A LOT but it is definately a mini cigar taste. I know I know "taste is subjective" .... ok well whatever those little cigars taste like to you is just what freedom tastes like too. I can finaly fix all my syrup flavors by using them as flavor addatives to my freedom! And man this stuff certainly fixes "pure cig" from the overly rated freedomsmokeusa. Is there any liquids similar to halo out there in that they actualy taste like smoke and not over sweetend syrup juice?

The closest "2nd" I'd give any liquid I've tried is the Johnsons creek Tennessee cured tobacco flavor.

Vapenstein had an initially not-quite-good review of T56. He revisited that review with another review, recanting his previous review and giving T56 a good recommendation. He's claimed it's his all-day vape on occasion since then, as well.

I got a recommendation that when first receiving an order of T56, to open it and let it air for a couple hours, then take the dropper and circulate the juice but drawing it up, and releasing it back into the bottle several times, exposing it to air. Shake it well and do it again.

My T56 has been delicious since day one using that method. I left it open overnight the first night, and the next morning I think it tasted even better.

It's my all-day vape, no question. I have five tobacco flavors from BWB, all highly-recommended on ECF and elsewhere, and Halo T56 beats them all, IMO.

Bingo!
I vape with cartos, got to keep them wet.
Recently started using the clearomizers at 3.7, a bit cooler vape than my usual six volts but the taste is amazing. Currently playing with the tanks mods and plan on using those at 5v with a 3.2 e2 setup.
If you use attys or cartos, yep, you have to keep them wet. Doesn't matter what juice it is, nothing is more rank than dry filler taste.

Thanks Frick, you always seem to answer the OP rather than get caught up with the thread hijacking

I just got my 30mL bottle of Torque 56 and am using your method, the bottles been open for about an hour and ill be vaping it from my BMF soon.

BTW Halo, your shipping time was amazing - Ordered Monday at 12pm PST and the juice was in my Mailbox on Wednesday at 1PM PST - 48hrs from East Coast to West Coast - Amazing!

The Review of Torque 56 will come soon !

Torque56 is good, I can taste the "maple" flavor but it's nothing too overpowering. Freedom on the other hand is waaaay to florally to me... I don't know how people are recommending that as an analog replacement. So far I'm really liking Prime15 (hope it makes it to production), Tribeca (great flavor), and Torque56 (flavor is a bit strong but still good).
