This might not be the right place to post this, but here goes.
Today's my 100th day, and I should be very happy...but I have an odd problem. Dry mouth. I mean REALLY dry. This isn't vape tongue (which I do get a lot), and it isn't because I'm not drinking water. It's a complete and total dryness and a feeling in my mouth that it's about to pucker away to nothing! Started late yesterday, when I realized I not only couldn't taste my juice, I couldn't FEEL my juice. Crazy, right?
I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I'll add that I mostly use juices at 65PG/35VG, and I have an Innokin itastevv3; use clearos and/or a simple dripper on it. I drink lots of water, coffee, and iced tea. Help?

You may be suffering from chronic dry mouth syndrome. I do think that tea and vaping can associate with it but I think it is just simply a medical deficiency on its own. There are several OTC supplements that will help from mouthwash to vitamins. Here is a useful link. Swanson Ultra Dry Mouth Relief 60 Chwbls - Swanson Health Products

I really hope it gets better. Do not be shy to try the supplements available, after all they are there in the stores for a reason.
God Bless.

Thanks very much. That does look like something I could try, and I'll look for it when I hit the stores today (Publix and health food).
I did find someone with a description exactly like mine who found tea was causing it. I have been making very strong decaf tea and drinking it without much dilution, and I feel certain that was making my "normal" vapetongue" into this Sahara situation.
I switched to an iced coffee with milk last last night, and after two sips, I tried vaping, and it "worked." So it could have been the dairy, or the tea.

Then again, it could be aspartame in drinks. Switched to Splenda (Diet Rite).

If I would to wager a guess, I would say PG is the culprit. Ive been trying different levels to find my happy place. I was doing a 50/50 and boy would I be itchy all over, I would get dry skin, along with getting canker sores in my mouth. I do hydrate throughout the day with water and while it helped, I would still get dry mouth. And it was to the point where it was throwing off my speech a little. (freaked me out before I put 2 and 2 together) I like VG, but 100% VG is usually to thick for a lot of tanks which I like to use and end up getting a lot of dry hits as a result.

Right now Im using a 70/30 VG/PG which seems a lot better (I dont itch nearly as much if at all). Mouth can still get a bit dry if I dont drink at least 1L of water per day.

Going to try a 75/25 mix next. Good thing the vendor I use is pretty accommodating. I'd DIY, but the thought of handling nicotine freaks me out a bit..rather just get it mixed for me.

Yeah, I have been thinking about that possibility. I have gone all over on my levels, but I do have one juice that's 20PG/80Vg, and I think I'll see how that works. I'll start it out today and see if I have any change. Thanks for this!

Do you vape alot, like more than in comparison to when you smoked?
You talkin' to ME? or SuperAwesomeDudeGuy? Anyway, I do vape more than I smoked, but I also try to take breaks during the day.
I'm drinking a lot, also using hydrogen peroxide rinse or Peroxyl several times a day.

20% pg is intolerable to me. Dry mouth. 10% is about as High as I can go comfortably and even that adds dryness. Get 100 vg before you make assumptions. Any amount of pg will continue to feed the fire.

Also it may take a day or two off pg before you recover the hydration in your mouth.
I'm going to try it. I have to order so it'll take time. Will I get my taste back, and do I need to look for "strong" flavors? Thanks!

My newest thing to try is to stop using a straw for all the iced drinks and water I consume every day. I seem to have internalized the "sucking" motion you use with a straw, and I now have that feeling all the time (just trying to analyze what the issue is).
I've been using a VG-only juice from Velevet Cloud Vapors since 1:30 PM yesterday and am still hoping for improvement. My mouth does feel better, but still no taste...and this juice is Sour Skittles LOL.
