Ok, I bought the white cloud cirrus 3 this morning and I found this website and I am now afraid I made a mistake.

I made them give me a 30 day money back guarantee in writing so I can send it back and just eat the shipping costs if needed.

The kit costs $300 for 3 batteries and 10 cartridges.

I am asking anyone to please Check out the website and let me know if I wasted my money and if so...what should I buy instead. I'm not too worried about spending money I just want something of quality that just works. But I also don't want to pay for a relabeled and marked up battery like o have read so much about in these other forums.

Please help!

Send it back - huge ripoff. They are #1 ripoff charging $90 for a white battery that should cost $15. They will make you keep the cartos but they should be usable on KR808D-1

Send it back and look at Vapor4Life.com (also KR808D-1) or for plain colors black or steel see LiteCigUSA.net standard KR808D-1 manual kit. You can probably find a white KR808D-1 manual kit elsewhere. Manual batteries are what most people here use and recommend. They are less prone to damage from juice leaks, won't turn on accidentally from wind or vibration and give better control of your hit.

What "they" said.
I know some people who maybe still haven't spent that much on a "PV".
Return it "Unopened", and get a refund. There is NO reason to even open it. It will make a good statement that you mean business and it shows you have NO interest in owning it. If their "guarantee" sucks, like mentioned, contact your credit card company and refute it. Sending it back unopened shows to anyone that you don't want it, especially to your credit card company.

I would send it back either with delivery confirmation or signature required so you have PROOF you sent it and they GOT it.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.:thumb:

Those things I listed about are the same model. KR808D-1 is the most popular 2-piece model. And if you want prefilled cartomizers it's your best bet because the most popular line of 510 threaded stuff has almost no prefilled cartomizers since it's a 3-piece by default. And BTW those ripoff rebranders usually also lie about how long a carto lasts, how long a battery lasts etc.

I vape both manual KR808D-1 (mine is Vapor4Life w/ Vapor4Life cartos (mainly their blanks) and manual 510 and manual mega xl 510 with standard resistance Boge cartos (blanks) and I also have a Riva 510 (fat battery model with super long charge and can use hotter LR atomizers and cartomizers)

battery life (each 100mah is about an hour of moderate vaping)

Joye 510 180mah
Joye 510 Mega XL or KR808D-1 standard size battery 280mah

Ego and Riva 510 650mah to 1100mah

Welcome! Yeah, very slick looking website. You were very wise to get the money back guarantee. I looked at those myself in the beginning but didn't want to spend $300. I ended up with the convenience store type of system but for a whole lot less money. It was still a fairly poor introduction into vaping. Then I found this forum! The advice given is excellent and the people genuinely want you to get the most for your money from reputable vendors. Come to think of it, I guess I'm one of the group here now and I KNOW that vaping works and also want you to get the best system for your money too.

Some great starter kits have already been mentioned and it is likely that you really haven't formed an opinion on what would work best for you yet. I can say that you cannot go wrong with a 510 type of system. It offers the widest range of options and is universally carried by virtually every vendor. It is also a very effective PV. The Joye 510 Mega XL kit mentioned would be great with the 280 mA battery. What I use is an eGo type of 510 system and that is really nothing more than a 510 with an even larger battery. I got mine with cartomizers (similar to the ones WC offered) only they are empty and must be filled with the e-liquid before use. I purchased my system and liquids from Mad Vapes- Welcome to MadVapes LLC
They are by no means the only reputable vendor - just one I have made a number of purchases from. Plenty of great vendors are represented on ECF. I'm sure others will add more options.
Best of luck!

The standard 510 is a good performer but dealing with the short vape time of the batteries gets old very quickly. I usually recommend the ego or riva but with several good mods on the market, I'm starting to recommend going straight to a mod. The advantage is when you replace the batteries. If vaping totally bombs for you (it won't), you can resale your mod and not have a total loss. Research the Sparkplug SP2, the e-power by Smok Tech, and the Rough Stack from Madvapes. I have the e-power and love it but I don't think you can go wrong with any of those.

Click on the forum suppliers button at the top of the page under the ECF banner. Lots of very good vendors to choose from. Browse a little. Liberty Flights has starter kits at excellent prices, when they're not sold out. I got my first 510 kit from Electronic Stix -- it was shipped quickly and Jason provides great customer service, also very good prices. As Dormouse said, Vapor4Life sells KR808D-1 kits, lots of choices and pre-filled cartos in a wide selection of flavors, a quick and easy way to get started. All of them good quality at much lower prices than White Cloud. You could get a couple of fancy starter kits and months worth of juice for what White Cloud is charging you.

And welcome to ECF, the noob forum, and vaping! Now that you're on the right track, you'll be glad you decided to take the plunge.

Yeah, back when I was young and foolish (and before I discovered this wonderful forum) I got a wc kit also....their stuff does work ok, and they did get me off of the cigs, but they are way overpriced...you can get the same 808 style kits alot cheaper for sure....vapor4life has the same style, and are nicer cuz the cartos have a nice soft end cap that is easily removed for refilling...the wc ones are glued in and were a pain to remove...v4l also has a better selection of flavors, and sells the juices so you can refill yourself...
There are other places as well, some have been mentioned already.
Good for you that you found this forum in time to return the kit....
Read up and learn...most everyone here is very caring and helpful.

Good luck to ya.

I over paid for another kit a week ago because I did not do good research and did not find this forum. Well I am glad I did and found out what I really needed. I would say for starting out and getting something good and not hard to use for right now I would get a nice kit from V4L. get some pre filled cartomizers and go from there. If you need more help there is plenty of it here. I think the kr808 should work good to get you started. vapor 4 life has a sale right now 21% off. put in promo code FLASH21

When I first started I bought a From V2.com and I sent it back within 2 weeks! I think a lot of people believe that the more it cost it must be better! But that case is wrong. V4L has great prices on there kr808 kits, and you can find some great deals on the classfield section here from some good users! My problem with the kr808 was the battery life and the ability of options with the unit. The ego and 510 had a lot more options to the unit where you can try count list of things on 1 unit. I know there was a janty ego stainless steel set for only $25! For $300 you could get a really good 3.7v/6v mod, attys, and juice! I suggest you take the extra min and look at all your option and get something alittle more that what you need , because it always happen for someone to want more. That way your not spending the extra money getting the right pv for you. Id check v4l, liberty-flights, good prophets, etc for a really good setup at a great price! I wish you the best of luck finding the right pv!!

Just a suggestion, a good 1000mAh Ego kit and some dual coil cartos would be a nice first set up or even Boge cartos to keep you off the cigs and it will hold a charge for way longer than any of those little reg ecig batts, you will be charging your batts every hour or so and its a pain in the xxx to do so, just check the Ego Batts with a good carto and get your money back for sure on that kit you purchased, total rip off
