Total Noob - Ordered first e-cig - "eGo-T"

After analogging for 33 yrs, I'm doin the dew. Getting 2 eGo-t kits for myself and the wifey. One question: I've read that the attys in these kits taste like puke when first used. Any good way to SAFELY clean them before use, or should I just vape a while and it will go away? Is there maybe a flavor that will help mask the taste a little better (methol)? Or will I just get a minty puke taste?
Actually that might not be so bad, concidering the taste of analogs lately. LOL

"primer" it. Go to the side that connects to the battery then blow through it with a napkin on the atty side, that should do the trick!

Actually, its the other way round....napkin to the batt end and blow from other side.
then take a q-tip and wipe the inside out......and off the batt end also, then put a couple of drops of your liquid directly on the atty, wait a couple of seconds, drip 2 more drops then vape.

I always clean new ego-t and mega cart atty's in my trusty ultrasonic cleaner, then don't have that problem. Just me.

Don't have an ultrasonic cleaner, besides what newbie wants to have to wait longer for an atty to dry? only if it is absolutely necessary.......lol

My wife and I just got new cigs. She got the Joye 510 mega an I got the eGo-t. So far I love it. I have heard about the rancid first drags but I did not experience it myself. Just a little "burnt" flavor, not a big deal. I started off with cream, strawberry, and coffee. Not too bad. I'm thinking about mixing them together. Did I mention that I love it? I've been vaping for two days straight and haven't ended up with cotton-mouth yet!

ive just put the tank atty in some iso and let it sit in there for sometime and blew out the liquid and let it dry over night and i didnt have a problem with the burnt taste.

Thanx for all the great responses. Should be getting my eGo-ts Monday. Can't wait to toss aside the Devil sticks forever. Just ordered several differant mixes and concoctions from Vaporrenu to see what will work best.

Just blow it out from the battery end couple times and wipe it out and you will be good to go.What type did you order syfi a or b atty ? hopefully type b they work lot better and hold more e-juice than the type a.
