Unscrew the middle and 1 side screw out a bit then poke the coil legs through, then screw in the screws.

Yup, that's an RDA.
Building a coil isnt for noobs IMO... Start with a clearomizer like a Kanger AeroTank or Aspire Nautilus BVC. After you get the basics down with that do some research and look into rebuilding :)
Alternatively, if you have a vape shop near by you could have them build it for you, be sure and bring the battery you intend to run it on, so you can test it there in the shop. Before you bring it in, let it soak for 5 minutes in HOT water (as hot as you can get it from the tap) and Dawn. Swish it around in there a little. Then Rinse it really good with hot water and let it air dry on a lint free cloth. It's always a good idea to do this when getting a new device that the e-liquid will come into contact with.

Be sure and test it with an ohm reader.
Dont forget to wick it...
Make sure your batteries are rated for the amps you are going to draw...

Its more than just screwing down some wires :(

I don't have an ohm reader, do I need one or can I figure it out another way? And also how do I know how many Amps I'll be drawing?

most common regulated mods can check your ohms easy, at any time.

what have you been vaping with and what mod are you using.

If you are using a regulated mod you are probably ok using the built in ohm reader. That said, I use a stand alone one and recommend the USA ohm meters. They are more accurate than most and not much more ($23+ship)

Sorry for assuming you were a complete noob, I was going off the information given :)

Read up on ohms law and battery safety. Stream-engine.org is a great tool, but never a replacement for an ohm reader of some kind.

If you are using replaceable batteries, be sure and buy high quality authentics from a reputable seller. I order form rtdvapor and have heard good things about illumination supply, I'd never use Amazon or eBay as there are a lot of knockoffs, and they are hard to spot. I also don't trust batteries from b&ms.
With good batteries get a good charger. Nitecore I or D series are good. Xtar and the efest LUC charger are also good.

Don't know the depth of your knowledge or what mod you are using.. So there is some info :)
