I recently bought an mvp 3.0 and I couldn't be happier. Keep in mind I own and use many different mechanical and regulated devices but I use the mvp most these days. It's currently paired with my horizon tech arctic tank with a .5 ohm coil at 25 watts. Seems to be the sweet spot for me.

Good luck

Hello and Welcome Robert.

Thanks for the warm welcome Wolfenstark!

I have been vaping a VG dominant juice. One of them is 85VG/15PG and the other is 80VG/20PG. Both in 6 mg. The higher PG juices were just irritating my throat too much. Especially when I wake up in the morning. Even with the heavy VG juices, I usually don't start vaping until at least half an hour after I get up in the morning.

Is it possible to vape on no nicotine juice?

Yup...also higher VG will give you better clouds, if your lung hitting you only need low nic strength too, 3mg, no more than 6mg.. I usually vape 70/30 6mg

Ok, I will get some high VG juice once I get my setup!

Phfffft, 18mg 50/50 dripper lung inhale for the win!

WOW!!!! Wonder how that feels on the throat???

I would get the MVP 3 but it's just a little out of my price range. I feel the Eleaf and the MVP are almost the same, except for the battery life.

I personally don't like the isticks. They feel flimsy and too small. . But that's probably because of my massive hands.

Much better than lower nic. Straight vg or 50/50 at 12mg gave me an annoying throat irritation since I was vaping more to get to my happy nic threshold. Higher nic for me means less vaping while getting nic saturated faster, thereby avoiding the throat irritation. All about trade-offs and what works best for you.

Higher PG juices typically have more flavor. Of course, not an issue if you're using an RDA or a good RTA.

Some people are sensitive to PG or VG. I started on 80/20 PG, but it was irritating my throat. Took a while to figure it out, but now I vape juices higher than 70% VG exclusively.

Just gotta try some juices out and find your preference.

The MVP has a more expensive superior processor, utilizing a higher frequency PWM chip in its power delivery resulting in a smoother vaping experience. The Eleaf uses a cheaper chip which results in the notorious "rattlesnake effect". It is a subtle difference, but one to be considered whether it is worth the exrta money. Check out PBusardo's reviews on both devices.

Why Mods that Use the Cheap 33.3 Hz Chip don't Vape the Same as a Provari, DNA-20, etc

I see what you are saying. My only worry is that the subtank will look wayyyyy to big on the Eleaf 30 watt.

Yes, you can get 0mg nic juice...

SWEET!!!!!!!!!

The Eleaf is no bigger than the 20W and the Subtank mini isn't exactly massive, considering the vaping power, they are pretty small when paired together, way better than the CF MOD and the Kanger Mini for example.... if you want to go smaller, have you considered the Kanger Subtank Nano, seeing as you don't want to build coils, might be an option, smaller but the same power, same vape clouds ect..

I'll take a picture of my Eleaf and Kanger Mini together tomorrow for you...no way I would call it big..the Original Kanger Subtank, yeah, I could see but the mini sits flush on the Istick, they look great to me..

I love my setup with my homemade kryptonite juice ..yeah baby

How do you make your own juice? Is there a forum for that??

spend the bit more and get the iStick 50W instead, will save you buying twice

I have heard raved reviews on the 30watt, and I also feel I don't need the 50 watt bEcause I am not looking to upgrade anytime soon.

There is loads of info on google and you can even buy mixing kits..

Nice guide here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/218802-guide-making-your-own-e-juice.html

Mixing kits here Mix your own e-liquid | nicotine solutions | diluents | flavour concentrates.

But really, since I found Isle of Custard, I wont be making my own again, 100ml for £19.00 of the best juice I've ever had, why would I, it is just incredible juice

Isle of Custard by Mike - Isle Of Custard E-Liquids Isle of Wight

And where I'd buy my devices ect, KingZing, Nick is a great guy, good prices and the best customer service I've found for a long time,

Kingzing - KingZing Electronic Cigarette Store

Basically for me, Captain's Custard Donut juice 70/30 6mg with the Subtank mini 1.2 coil at around 16 - 20W on the Istick, vaping heaven, I wish somebody had given me this advise, would of saved me a whole load of brass.....

I'm with you on the 30W but its personal preference, the 30W is enough for both the 1.2 and 0.5 coils, I only use the 1.2 ..sometimes at 16W, 17.5, never higher than 20W, I enjoy a cooler vape so the 30W was overkill to me....the only reason I got the 30W is because they added some features, like locking the device, improved connector and most of all, they changed the top so the Kanger Sub mini fits perfect...or any 22mm tanks..it had nothing to do with the extra wattage.. but that's just me.

EDIT - Your in the USA - Stupid me..I'll leave the links up though, useful info..
