I think I may do the eleaf 30 with a kanger. I was wondering what a good website is for buying coils for the kanger subtank. I think I will do the 1.2 ohm coils. Do I need to buy new coils when they run out or do I need to build my own?

Im from the UK and your the US right, if you lived in the UK Id say talk to Nick at KingZing, great guy and very helpful... You can buy a 5 pack of Kanger coils, either 0.5 or 1.2, a coil lasts me about three weeks, sometimes two depending how hard I hit it, I save my rebuilds for my darkhorse, dripper but that's another story ha.. My Subtank is my lazy mod, prime coil, put it in, fill with juice, screw it on my Istick and off I go..Seriously, you can't go wrong with that setup, the worst you can do is burn a coil out, pretty safe these days.. Also check out Tiavapes and indoorsmokers on youtube, couple of really nice people with some good info and reviews..

The Sub-tank and Sub-tank mini come with a re-buildable section. So you can - buy new heads. Re-build used heads (there are vids to help with that), or use the rebuildable section.

I am not really looking to do any rebuilding right now. I like just being able to buy coils and then screwing them on and vaping away.

I have been watching indoorsmokers and tiavaoes for a while now and I love them. I will be looking around for some 1.2 ohm coils.

Doesn't anyone do their own research anymore? The internet is a wonderful thing:)

I have got more info out of forums like this than anywhere in the past, some threads months old but always useful so I see no harm coming on here to ask, it's what the forums are for, especially the beginners forum..

I am just trying to get some help man, your were a beginner at one point right??? The people on this forum have been nothing but nice to me and have provided me with insight that you can only find here. THIS FORUM IS A WONDERFUL THING :)

idk what all advice youre getitng but if youre gonna get a simple box mod like the MVP you would be much better off with the eleaf istick 30W. its a little smaller and i think it looks nicer. really user friendly. i honestly hate the mvp, thought i would love it but i got an istick instead and its perfect

I am getting a eleaf istick 30 watt and kanger subtank. I feel this is the best setup for me.

My go to setup too, the only thing I didn't like about it, is the big bore metal tip, so bought a custom one which is more narrow, I find a narrow one brings out the flavour more and is just a better vape, personal pref..see pic, its sooooo nice.. Guy called Richard makes them, they are simply the best and fit like a dream, I'm sure he ships outside the UK but don't Quote me on that, his website is called Juice Trap, the one pictured below is tip number 12 which you can see on his website..

That is a fine setup, as long as you understood that the subtank excels at what it's made for...direct lung hits...and is a poor performer for mouth to lung vaping.

Yes this is very true, I was a smoker for years and always did mouth to lung, I was a bit unsure myself but once you get used to it, there is no going back.. It's a very valid point though, if you really don't fancy direct lung hits then the nautilus mini should be your choice..also the Subtank isn't something I take out with me, especially down my local pub, the clouds are just too big, this is the beauty of the Eleaf 30W, if Im going out, I just unscrew my Subtank from the Eleaf and put the nautilus mini on, change the wattage and I'm good to go again.. Something to consider maybe..

I believe the lung won't be an issue. I am thinking of using this for a while then I will add a nautilus mini to my collection.

As I said above. I will use this for a while then I will pick up a nice nautilus mini.

Any recommendation on PG/VG juice?

I have been vaping a VG dominant juice. One of them is 85VG/15PG and the other is 80VG/20PG. Both in 6 mg. The higher PG juices were just irritating my throat too much. Especially when I wake up in the morning. Even with the heavy VG juices, I usually don't start vaping until at least half an hour after I get up in the morning.

Yup...also higher VG will give you better clouds, if your lung hitting you only need low nic strength too, 3mg, no more than 6mg.. I usually vape 70/30 6mg

Phfffft, 18mg 50/50 dripper lung inhale for the win!

hahaha, I'd pass out, made that mistake when I first started lung hitting and felt sick as a pig and just down right meh.. I do know a few that can handle it but for us mere mortals, no chance..
