I liked this juice when I received it, but today it became one of those juices that make me talk to myself... "damn, that's good, oh man I love this, etc"
When I first start vaping it I do get a hint of spiciness, not hot spicey, but spice spicey, after a while I notice the sweetness more. I know that a lot of people here really love Gandalf, and I really like it too, but DF has entered my top 3 for sure.

One weird thing that I have noticed is the smell - kind of a baby powder, talc smell after an exhale, weird but I'm fine with it.

Totally loving the HHV's, VR Kentucky Premium, and AV 555. Have a couple Halo samples on the way and I'm really stoked to try them. Loving the tobacco flavors - keep the suggestions coming!

Ya I just tried it a few days ago. Not so much for me. Letting it steep for a while. Love gandalf though. Ordering another 60mls of it. Will be getting my first ahlusion order this week that includes their vecchio blend, described as a vanilla tobacco flavor. Gets nice reviews on their site. Can't wait to try it.

The HHV's were the first juices that I had to steep and really had to shake up, really didn't care for them at first.

How long did you let them steep for? I just got a sampler pack the other day and really don't get too much flavor from any of them except for the base (which makes them all taste similar). The Gandalf was the best of the bunch but still iffy. I shake them all occasionally but still get nothing. The P'nut Butter Cookie has an undertone thats a bit plastic-y. The Cinful Pear just gets burnt (vaping on an ego with a vivi nova at 2.4 ohms). And the Dragon's Fire tastes like a more generic version of the Gandalf. Any tips would be appreciated as I think these juices have potential.

Lol. Read my initial reviews of gandalf. I compared it to a stale cracker. After a week it's now my #1. Just ordered 60 mls of it. Took mine about 4 days for me to go, oh wow.

I took the caps off for a few days, then gave them 3 or 4 more to sit - a week or so total. Did the same with my Alien Visions (Boba's and 555). I was so bummed a couple weeks ago when I received HHV and AV on the same day and didn't think I liked any of them. Seems to me that the flavors separated and I was getting nothing but that strong, pipey base without the sweetness. Was convinced that I was gonna make someone's day and "pay it forward".
Give a week or so, they will change, I promise.

Vapin' it now in a SR Joye 510 at 5volts; good stuff and tastes great in a carto as well. Pirates Booty is pretty good too. I know what is ment by the base comin' through on these (shades of NLV's stuff) but it doesn't bother me too much. And yeah steepin' helps in the case of my Gandalf; I'll probably have to get some more of that soon.

No, it isn't just you. :) I get loads of fresh, dark honey in Dragon Fire -- it's the best honey tobacco I've ever vaped! :)

Maybe the "dark honey" is dark because it was flambeed? ;) Very good juice here!

I started off loving Gandalf and not liking Dragon's Fire much. I tasted banana in Dragon's Fire. Yes, I know there's no banana flavoring in DF. So sue me. That's how my brain interpreted it.

With considerable steeping time, however, the awkward banana morphed into "Something Else." Don't know what, except that I like it.

Now---some months and a large bottle reorder later---Gandalf has been knocked off as HHV King of the Hill for me and replaced by Dragon's Fire. Oh, sure---Gandalf is still good as a frequent visitor and dinner date, but Dragon's Fire is my new live-in roommate. (Now if I could only find a way to get DF to pay half the rent...)

I had a morning laugh with my breakfast! Thanks Bill.

Comedy is my middle name. (Not really. My middle name is actually my mother's maiden name---Driver---which is equally odd.)

By the way, Mr.M, you're doing yeoman work on the NET thread.

I just got a sample pack from HHV and find that there is such a plastic-y taste to it that I actually gagged. It's so bad that it seems like I'm vaping pure bottle with a hint of flavor. I know I should probably steep these juices, but I get the sense that something is wrong with my order rather than the plastic taste being intrinsic to the juice... I've contacted the company already, but I thought I'd check with you guys to see if this is normal as well. Is it?

Plastic-y? Uhh, not in the least bit with my 6 or 7 orders. If it is that bad to you, put it in the classifieds and recoup your money. Steeping and getting rid of a plastic tastes are two separate issues. If your's tastes that way to you, that is too bad, but sometimes things register to our respective palates differently.
