As a father, my heart and prayers go out to you on your tragic loss yesterday. Unfortunately, this is a sign of the times. Loss of morality, de sensitivity to violence with all the new violent video games, mothers that have to work and kids coming home to empty houses after school, a failing economy. I could go on. The only thing that helps me keep it together during times like this is my faith in God. In times like this, its all we have.

I am too thinking very often things like that Torq. In fact I am thnking only those things the last 10 years. The worst part is that every year things goes worse. When people say that nothing is changed I laugh sometimes because not only all things change but they change very fast. But not for good unfortunately. People behave like robots, they dont talk to anyone not even to themselfs, and the only they care is how to satisfy their poor needs. Noone really cares any more for the others even for his family . Children are rasing themselfs and parents dont pay attention to them. Most of the times its not their mistake but the way they have to work to give them money to live better. But will these children live better?????

What happened yesterday was extremely painful to watch, to hear, and to imagine what these families are going through. I pray for them and for there loss in hope they find solace in knowing there kids are in a better place.

this is what I was referring to when I posted in the Ithaca official sticky thread last night.
These 20 blessed souls were mostly all 6 years old with a few being 7 years old...It is sickening to think that this can occur. Everyone is feeling the pain, but even as a mother myself, I could never begin to comprehend what the parents of those 20 angels are going thru...My heart just breaks for them. I pray for them all.
