Well, after I realized that my state has passed the new FSC laws which is putting some kind of new chemical in my old smokes and giving me headaches, I've decided to try to switch and get an e-cig.

At first the one I wanted to get was the Blu e-cig. I liked how it looked, that it came in something that looked like a pack (and that pack was functional), had some flavors for the starter kit, and that it looked more like a regular cigarette.

After reading here about their shipping problems, I'm glad I didn't get the chance to order one, and started looking for alternatives. I stumbeled upon two others that I'm strongly considering.

The Blu look alikes from Aqua Vapor. My big turn off of those is that they don't come with any flavors besides regular or menthol. But, isn't there a way to get other cartridge flavors for those? Wouldn't they work with the Blu cartridges? Or with the e-liquid stuff (that really puzzles me on how to fill cartridges with this...)

And the more promissing looking option the Totally Wicked Super E-Cig. Its different then the first option, but it looks (and has been reviewed as) a much better product from a better company ect ect. But I don't understand as well how TW's e-cigs work.

As a beginner, how difficult is it to get the more complicaited parts of vaping to work? I would really much rather get the TW product, but I don't want to get it and realize I can't use it. Advice? Links? How-tos?

First off let me say that TW is a top notch company. I have done business with them many times on juice orders and they never fail to please...........

Their Mini E-Cig model is a 901 model
Their Titan model is a 510.
I am not sure what the Super E-Cig is equivalent too--but it does have an auto battery.

Of the 2 I would definitely recommend the 510 over the 901. However, I would only buy a 510 that came with 2 manaual batteries and skipped the auto battery entirely. I do not want to steer you away from TW......I would buy juice from them anytime. For a 510 I would recommend Widows Bead Work - Home Monique sells a 510 with 2 manual batteries and 2 atomizers for $50 including shipping. It is a great deal.

Take a look.................and if you have any more questions, just ask.

Tw is a good site to order from, although the rumours of problems with the state side site served to be true for myself when I first started. I ordered from both the UK and US site at the same time.

Now, why?...because the UK site had menthol liquid and I refused to start my vaping experiences without it. I ordered my first e-cigs from there, 2 Super-mini's (RN4081) from the UK and as an after thought, 2 mini's(thought to be 901's, but they are 4075's, which are mostly compatible) from the US site along with tons of attys for both e-cig models)

Well, from my understanding, TW U.S. site (retailer) is located in Florida,....I live in Florida. I received my UK shipment, 1 day after my US shipment. This was the first and only time I've had an issue with the U.S site.

Other than this personal and isolated experience, their products(or I should say services, most of everyone's products get funneled from the same manufacturers) are good....just too costly for me to justify continuing to order from them. The objective to me at the start of this vaping crossover, was not only for my health, but to save money.

Saving money for me might only be a bonus, I'm not expecting it to be any cheaper. Considering I smoked about a pack every 2 days, at about 150 bucks a month or so I'd be more then willing to put that into e-smokes. I was just worried about it being more complicated then I could easily get into.

After looking at the different reviews of different models of the TW's stuff (I'm sold on the company, even if it is more expensive. They've gotten some killer reviews). I think I'm going to get their e-cig, some liquid, flavors, bottles, and droppers.

Well, we all learn in our own time.

Just from my experiences, and you and anyone can take this how you like.

Just because you have a logo on the item, doesn't separate the performance of the item from one device to the other....since they come from the same pot.

That 29.95 a bottle of liquid, goes faster than you may think. If you smoke a pack every two days, that bottle might last you a week and a half....maybe, since vaping reforms a new habit and doesn't quite pacify as the old habit that quickly, (it may be the new toy factor).

Vaping is often times not as cheap or even close to equal the amount of cost for analogs, this is where smart shopping occurs and taking as much useful info from others as possible helps.

If you don't care whether you order from a US supplier or foreign, try Ruyandirect.com.

The recommended 510 is there, also the 901 and so forth, with 1 year guarantee's at the fraction of the cost not to mention 9.50 30ml liquid...

Saving money maybe an added bonus, but you'll find that if vaping is not for you....that will be an unwelcome bonus to frustration.

Also, why the 510 is recommended.

Battery has a manual button. You can control usage. Unlike most e-cigs that are activated by pressure/reverse pressure or sound. They tend to go off when not in use, draining the battery. Also, this is not a good thing if your atty is connected while it does this. Can lead to atomizer failure, or burnt taste.

The 510 also has a PCC available for it. This device is an all in one. You can carry 1 atomizer, 2 cartridges and charge one battery (up to 4 times) in
    your pocket.

Known as the Titan on TW for 69.99 kit and 79.99 for the PCC, wow, first time I paid attention to that...
    Ruyandirect 38.90 kit/ 18.50 for the PCC.....not sure if I can call that a bonus savings ;)
I'm certain there are other reliable places, just not sure since I am no longer in the market to buy e-cig kits. I've upgraded to self modifying.

I like the TW Super E-cig (Model RN4081) somewhat better than the 510 so far. I haven't started using a manual battery yet, but with the automatic battery (where you draw on the cig to start it) I'm pretty sure that the atomizer gets hotter and delivers a stronger hit. There are two big issues with the 4081 though - first of all, the part of the cartridge that contains the fluid is a tiny little cup deeply recessed in the larger cart that you draw on. It doesn't contain nearly as much fluid as the 510, so you have to change them quite frequently. It's also more challenging to refill the cartridge - the best way is to pop the cup out with a paper clip, fill it, and then reseat it with the cap that comes with the cart.

On the other hand, the 4081 is probably more efficient using fluid I suspect.

Also, I suspect that the second battery shipping with the 4081 may not be well quality controlled.

Wow, thought I got a dud!lol Glad to know someone shares the exact same experiences of a 510. Although, I cannot lie, I have yet to experience any atty from another ecig to produce better heat or vapor production, even if the cart is short lived. It's even better in a moddified battery.

I had 2 orders from TW thus far...the Titan 510 and the some liquids. Both came in about 3 days (NJ) for me and were well packed/cared for during shipping. Their liquids are bit more compared to some places but compared to the only other company that I have purchased liquids from, I prefer theirs by far in terms of taste. You have to shop around for liquids that are cheap and tasty for you. Like a few others, I did not start vaping because of the cost...at least not at this point. I started to cut down and stop my analog smoking. So far, so good! I'm down about 1/3 of the amount of analogs!:D

Why do you recommend the 510 above the 901? Whats better about it?
I would never recommend anything that comes with automatic batteries.
There is enough heartache in life as it is.

But apparently some people don't struggle with automatic batteries like I did.
So maybe I'm just kind of lame or something.
    :)
