Soo, New here obvouly.

Im looking in to the mini side of the Esmokes, I really like the size and look of the BLU, but have found (thanx to you guys) that they are a bad idea.

What other companys are out there that are closest to the BLU?

I stumbled across Totaly Wickds stuff they seem to be damn near the same. Are they any good?

Ive read that the smaller Esmokes can burn out atomizers but is thiss if your a heavy smoker? Im deff not the bigest standard smoker, maby a pack every 3 or 4 days, I mostly smoke at night before bed to help counteract my real adiction of caffene haha. Or if im forced to sit still for a long time (driveing, waiting in a restaurant).

Ive been lurking around for a wile now and ive learned alot but im still lost on the diffrent model/brands. I see alot of model#s can there be diffrent Brands with the same #?

Also ive notices theres 2 ways to refilling the cartridges on these one with an eyedroper looking thing and some just replace the whole thing. I deff want to stay away from an eye dropper.

Thank you alot guys.

I don't know if there is a company out in this industry that closely resembles Blu, and maybe thats a good thing. There are ecig models that resemble the Blu ecig if thats what you want. I recommend using the Joye 510. I have one myself, its come in white or black and has a blue LED.

True, as far as looks go, the Joye 510 has similar appearance and has an available PCC (Personal Charging Case). But that's where the similarities will end.

The Joye 510 is much longer, wider, and heavier than the Blu. And the 510's PCC look less like a real pack of analogs and more like a portable tool kit; further, the 510's PCC will not hold an assembled 510 in it like the Blu will, which means the actual 510 just hangs out in your pocket or purse, which isn't nearly as convenient as the Blu setup.

That being said, the Blu has tiny (and I mean tiny) carts, meaning you'll constantly be topping off or replacing. They also do not produce nearly the vapor a 510 can, though that can be remedied a little with some simple modifications.

You may want to look into a 401 style. I was a light smoker, 1 pack every 2-3 days (camel lights). About 3 weeks ago i purchased Dragon from TrueSmoker.com and have been analog (cig) free ever since.

Keep in mind, before i got the Dragon, i was a completely new to this too...

The Dragon (or any 401) is about the same size as a "100s" style analog cigarette. The Dragon comes with 2 automatic batteries (no button). Also, JD throws in 10 pre-filled carts with "Marybro" flavor.
Now JD has been claiming over at the TrueSmoker.com section of these forums, that there is a PCC, and manual batteries in the makings for the Dragon too.

As for your issue with not wanting to deal with droppers... You will probably change your mind on this when you get the feel for how these things work. The #1 problem for me is that the wicking material inside the carts doesn't seem to wick at a constant rate. I.E. you will get nice big vapor clouds for your first 10 or so puffs, then the vapor production starts to drop off little by little. To remedy this, you will either need to top off your carts (dropper bottle needed for this), or just waste the rest of the juice left in the cart, and start a new one.
I personally thought i wouldn't want to deal with droppers and whatnot when i first ordered this too. But about a week later, I found myself ordering the D.I.Y. Gold kit from ecigsmokestore.com (which was awesome by the way). Now i am constantly topping off, and adjusting my juices to my liking.
You will find on this forum, in the DIY section, a lot of people post up alternatives to the normal (fluffy) stuffing they use in the cartridges. A popular one seems to be a "pyramid teabag mod" or PTB mod. I have yet to try this, but plan to very soon.

Anyway, just my 2 cents. As a light smoker, i wasn't interested in the larger e-cigs i was seeing out there. And just about everyone i know who has the Dragon has nothing but good to say about it. Also, JD is a great business man, and has great juice flavors.

Good luck, and happy vaping!

Wow thank you slowmotion, I was looking at those also, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Since your comeing from Camel lights I smoke Camel Wide Lights how's the actul falavor compared?

I haven't tried the Camel Juice from TrueSmoker.com yet, but the Marlybro flavor doesn't taste like Camels. It is good, don't get me wrong, and when i first went to the e-cig, the flavor of ANY tobacco-ish vapor was fine for me as a replacement. I've got some fruitier flavors now that i'm more used to not actually smoking.
