I've built a touch switch following Scubabatdan's instructions. I've used a IRF8736PbF mosfet and regular 47k and 10Mohm resistors - running from a 3.7v battery. The problem I'm having is it runs 'on' all the time... there is a low level current when the touch points aren't being touched, cranking up to full current when they are. That is, the switch is never fully off.

I've rebuilt it several times using new components and each time it fails in this way.

Any advice on what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.
