I'm sure that it's baked on, etc. But, like automotive touch-up paint, it only has to match in color, not in overall durability...which would be unlikely to match without using the original process. In my case it's the tiniest scrape at the edge of one of the teardrops on the handle area. It could be easily covered with a matching color.

I did mention I can be OCD, right? ;)

You know you could have mentioned that before! ;)

I like yourself am very OCD about my mods finish. I cant tell you how many times I have commented on the cerekote coating.... Its better then paint but not all that durable as it is made out to be... ZenKote is a much better option.....
Your only option is to do what I did...sell that scratched Provari. I sold 3 of them before I came to my senses and bought the Satin Stainless...It is their most durable finish.. And forget about the Polished Provari...Not only is a fingerprint magnet, but it will show every micro scratch the minute you start to handle it...
