Or welcome someone new!! I have never understood the gripe about getting 5 posts. It takes about 3 minutes.

It's a bit off putting to someone that has posted thousands of times on forums~> ChrispyCritter..I was a bit off putt I registered back in June but my 1st post was only a few days ago..part of that was having to post 5 posts in the new forum part was I just wasn't that interested and another was I was pretty busy away from my computer a lot all last summer/fall.

Anyways sure it's easy to put up 5 posts in a short time (on a good day I can put up well over 100 posts) but feeling like a newb when you're far past that is off putting for sure. I understand it makes life easier for the mods and admins as it cuts way back on spammers and makes them easier to get rid of I'm sure :)

Ok I been lurkin for a while and reading some of the diff forums here. If I understand the rules right the newbies here have to post something like big number to be able to post on the big threads that everybody reads.
kind of sucks in a way cuz some I had ?'s on and some had responses too. But it is what it is.

I kind of like the rules, they keep newbs in the newb areas, it isn't hard to get up to a post count quick. Say hello to some people.

In terms of other forums I am on this is probably the newb friendliest in terms of responses from other members (post up a repeated question on Benz World or MB world, OffTopic etc... and see what type of snark comment you get back about using the search button).

I love this place and personally don't think anything should be changed. (other than the layout and graphics a little bit).
