Hello my fellow forum Newbies,

Be careful to follow the forum rules about where & how to post, I just got a warning from a forum mod in PM about posting a 'general discussion' thread in the wrong place. For now, I will stick to posting in the "New Members Forum" and will follow the guidelines herein.

So far, I've had mixed experiences within this forum in its entirety. From excellent threads and responses, to being made fun of by not understanding a thread's subject matter in its entirety. Two totally different experiences within the same forum has got me questioning whether or not to continue posting.

However, for now, I will stick around for just a while longer & see how it goes. I hope that my fellow newbies are fairing better than I am within this forum! I might just not be cut out for forums, but surely time will tell! ;)

Meanwhile, here's to both happy & healthy vaping! :)

It's a really good idea to read the rules before you post. I got in trouble too...no big deal, just need to be more careful in the future.:) To me, the forum is like AA for smokers. I need to be here and participating. Plus, it's just like talking to actual people; some you get along with really well, some rub you the wrong way; what'r you gonna do, that's life.

But, Shadowcptn, you're a full member! You are now a voice of experience and wisdom.

Face it, no matter how much help we give or get here, the real experience, the hard won knowledge, comes from jumping in and doing it.

If you don't make mistakes, you aren't doing anything!

Go on! Get out there and make a few mistakes! It's the best teacher.

Just by admitting you made a mistake let's me know you're already better than you were last week and you're getting better all the time. Glad you're sticking out.

(I'm not a quitter either, but I did switch to vaping.)

Vape Happy!

Do stick around. Problem with a forum like this is that it is very big, and no way it can function without rules. Especially since there is also the problem with suppliers pushing products where they are not supposed to be pushed, which certainly led to slightly stricter rules than elsewere, where commercial interest just isn't much of an issue. That does in turn affect all users, even those who have absolutely nothing to gain by pushing.
