After reading your original post I think the e-cig may not be for you. You keep the hand to mouth and smoke thing that is for sure! You may keep the nicotine thing, many do. No matter which one you choose they require a certain amount of fussing and forethought, do I have an extra battery and juice etc. ?? Personally I much prefer electric and would only return to the real cigs if I could not get juice or supplies, but your mileage may vary.

Hey all...

Thank you for all the candid comments and the input. I will continue checking back for any new posts...but...I think I know where to go with my choices for now.

I think I'll just buy one and start giving it a try. However, I also think the Screwdriver AND an e-cigarette may be the best choice for me. I can prepare for "being out" with the "portable" device (eg. e-cigarette) and keep the Screwdriver for "home" use. Kind of like taking my laptop out but returning to my desktop computer at home.

I will consider the liquid and will, I'm sure, be back with a bunch more questions. Oh yeah...one more little question. Someone mentioned $5 cartridges...do you have a link or site name for those?

FYI...I was quite surprised with the quick, good natured responses to this morning's questions. What a refreshing experience from a positive and informative group. Thank you again.

Most of the suppliers that you'll see recommended on this forum sell 5 cartridges for around $5. For example, www.puresmoker.com sells them for that price.

Do check back in and let us know what you decide to do and how you're doing. I fully expect to hear yet another success story. :)

Hey Julie...I looked around PureSmoker and decided I like the site and I picked out the tools I wanted. Apparently they have quite a stock issue. Almost everything was out of stock. I sent them an email and will wait for them to get back to me...too bad. Maybe I can commit tomorrow.:)

Thanks again,
Mark

Yup, there are a lot of sellers whose cupboards are bare right now (or at least not terribly full). I suspect it's a combination of the still not being up to speed after the Chinese New Year (where manufacturing and shipping basically stopped) and an increase in demand.

If the traffic on this board is any indication, e-smoking is becoming increasingly popular. :)
