Tracking Information is Currently Not Available ?

Here is a tip that might help you find where your shipment is. I have an order in shipment now. The site I ordered from provided a tracking number but it still reads tracking is currently not available today. I copied the number and went to the USPS tracking site and pasted it. There it is. Two full days of information. A simple thing that I've overlooked to try before. Hope this helps somebody else

Yeah, I've been using it for a long time now..this was my last package tracked.. I also like the the automatic email updates sent to my smart phone telling me exactly when and where my package is in transit.. Very cool. Lol

Auto updates to a smartphone. Thanks. Most vendors provide a link to the carrier to track but some don't and you have to go to their site to get your tracking number. Often times these do not give updated tracking info when it is available by the carrier. They should do better

If you habitually have more than one package in transit (not that I would know anything about that) you may want to create a My USPS account. This will allow you to save, label, and track multiple numbers.

I have always copied the number then go to the usps site and search it.

I ship and receive packages on ebay continuously. The vendors can supply you with a link to the carrier. Some don't even email you a tracking number, such as the original posting. I had to go on their site to get it.
