Waiting for a battery case to come in the mail for my imr 18500s, but would like to carry one around when i go to work as an emergency back up, any recommendations or DONTs of what to not put it in? I have a little zipperd case i got with my k-100 and a mini one from my beats headphones. Would that suffice as an alternative until i get this case in? If not any recommendations?

The most important thing to remember is to keep the battery from shorting out. If you put it in a zippered carry case make sure it doesn't have metal teeth on the zipper. As long as there is no way for metal to contact the battery you should be fine. I might look at something like a old pill bottle, or old film container to keep the battery in. Then that could be put in about anything.

I have the little Ziploc baggies my spare parts for my rebuildable attys came in that fit my 18350s and 18490s very nicely.

Glad to hear that. I just moved up to a VTR and it hit me I gotta worry about carting 18650s around. Always save little zip lock baggies parts come in. Always find a use for 'em...

I'll have to try to find some of these locally. Wonder if WallyWorld would have them or something similar.
