Good Morning fellow vapers,
It has been a while since I have been here as other commitments took priority. The reason I write is some time ago I purchased a vape product on Ebay, and during the transaction Ebay kicked the seller off. Ok I got my product no complaint there. A few days ago I received an email thanking me for my purchase of a few months back and inviting me to now purchase on line with their very fancy website. I had a quick look and nearly had a coronary at their prices. A basic starter kit, yes with Nicotine E-juice is $85.00

2 x Rechargeable Chrome Battery (650mAh)
2 x Clearomiser
1 x USB Power Cable
1 x Australian standard USB power adapter
1 x User Manual (English Language)
1 x Bottle of 10ml E-Liqui

2x 650 Mah batteries? What sort of clero? get real peeps. Heck the batteries would not even last 500 puffs before a recharge was needed. They also do not tell you that if you order Nic E-juice that there will be a $35AUD DHL freight charge or a $15.00AUD Airmail charge from the UK.

They try to dupe you into thinking they are selling Nic juice in Oz....Bull......they are.

Their cheapest Nicotine E-Juice is $12.00 for 10 ml plus the freight charges earier mentioned. Now I might be a tad thick, but I would not consider paying that sort of money for a 10 ml bottle of E-juice no matter how good. I get all my Nic e-juice from HiLiq.com in China. A 500g parcel costs me $17.50 by DHL their postage is super quick and it arrives within a week. Thats right people less than 7 working days, of course it depends when you place your order.

The website I am talking about is E Cig & E Liquid - Electronic Cigarettes Australia - Vaper Empire/ indeed very well presented site but the prices are way over the top.

Be warned people there are definite sharks out there trying to prey on unsuspecting vapers.

The best service I have received has been from the following Aussie websites: The first two you can talk to the suppliers on the phone and receive good technical support and product discussions. Vapeking is also excellent but impossible to get on the phone.

Aussie E-Cigs

Huon Valley Vapes

Vapeking

Enjoy and happy vaping.

Oh man you would soil yourself if you went into a danish ecig shop :p

LOL well, I am in Aussie Land, and our prices here are reasonable but the problem being we cannot legaly buy Nic Juice in Oz and its a pain in the .... having to import it. I get a 50 ml bottle of 10% Nic base from China and that lasts me for well over a year. Indeed I also looked at American Websites for juice but alas hardly any accept PayPal, and I will be blowed if I will put my CC on line to anyone.

Hi !

A while back, I was involved in the general negative discussion of a UK company that was exporting to Australia.

The UK side of this company tried to distance themselves from the operation, but we all knew what was going on.

Interestingly, very few vapers took up the cause to boycott the UK vendor behind this abuse. The Vendor also somehow used special internet processes to stop Aussie Vapers seeing the websites for the UK and US.

What did I learn?

1) People selling products don't care about ripping folk off, only their public image, and their sales.
2) Ordinary folk don't care about the plight of other people and are too lazy or selfish to support other people who are being taken advantage of.

The internet is an amazing place... but the great Nirvana (liberation) of people's mind and money is being trampled on by greedy business and apathy from internet users to not stand up and say when something is wrong or abusive, even if only in a financial sense.

So - I thank you for your post. More power to people ready to make the stand. The e-cigarette business is a microcosm for internet business in general. I find it depressing that 99% of internet users don't want to engage in discussion that sees rip-off companies have to deal with backlash on forums and social media.

(not well thought through, but I hope you appreciate my sentiment).

RE Indeed friend that is what most businesses are about, I would hate to count the number of times I have been ripped off on Ebay and had to lodge paypal disputes especially with people listing items on auction and getting their mates to bid and jack up the prices.

Reply: Friend I have been vaping for quite a while now, and know what products are worth. Recently I walked into a retail outlet selling also 10ml ejuice and the label clearly said: Made in China. Out of curiosity I wrote down the website address of the ejuice manufacturer and guess what a box of 50 bottles of that ejuice cost the retailer: $0.25c AUD a bottle. What was he selling it for $10.95 AUD. The e-juice was total rubbish, thin as water and God only knows what was in it. No I did not buy it but a friend did.

Another instance, when ordering Nic Juice, the company was ejuicechina.com I ordered 12 mg juice when I went to vape it it made me ill. I took the juice to an acquaintance who was a pharmacist and he managed to get the nic content tested. I received 24mg juice labeled as 12mg. What comeback have you got. Chinese merchants are just as bad as some local ones. At least with local ones you do have some comeback and that is why I only deal with three companies I mentioned in previous post. I have had some bad experiences in Oz too with internet vape merchants not with juice but with faulty equipment. Ego batteries that were total crap and clones. You think you are paying for the real item and get rubbish.

Now happily I mix my own juice and know what I am putting into it and all my supplies come from very honest and reputable companies.

Regards and happy Vaping

Acer.

thanks but I only buy domestic ejuices

Yep so do I, the only safe way. The problem being that the company named was supposedly a local Aussie Vendor and now one learns the juice comes from the UK?
We have plenty of places in Oz now making their own concentrates and I already named one Aussie E-Cigs his concentrates are great.

Why dont you just make a "savings" account and connect a mastercard to it?... No negative numbers in case of fraud and you can transfer money to the account when needed...
But credit card scams arent that normal unless you shop at wierd sites... Look after grammar and the design of the site... Good grammar and spelling indicates that theres no google translate, and if the website is well designed and in a typical design its more likely been outsourced to someone who makes that for a living and not by a scammer... And ofc look for the E marks that tells that the site is safe to use, and use trustpilot before you buy...

If your bank wont let you have two cards open an account in a different bank ONLY for internet shopping

Thank you for the suggestion, have tried this before but I do prefer the security of PayPal. At least if there is a problem PayPal goes to bat for you.

that happens here in the U.S. as well, people just dont want to admit it or notice it. 1-2$ per mL of some of them 'boutiquey' premade e-liquids out there  buncha B&M's sell these house-made ejuices so expensive. and that 600%+ markup on them 0.50cent drip tips  or how about those squares of japanese cotton for 0.75cents a square  tiny amounts of money but when you add alll that markupppp those are HUuuuuge profit margins!

A real credit card company will take care of you better than Paypal. A bank card is NOT a credit card, even with a logo on it. Also could do a prepaid card, although I don't think that is considered age verification, probably not an issue.

Having dealt with banks and PayPal, I would say PayPal is a lot better, I had one credit card scammed, and it took six months for the bank to refund the money and in the interim the card and account was frozen. Trust banks no thanks. Pay Pal takes about a month and my account is still active.

I buy domestic too ,but I want to try Aussie,Euro, anything good and yummy :)

Well friend if you want to try Aussie Stuff you cannot go past Aussie E-Cigs or the other fellow I mentioned but he will not post overseas due to high freight costs and when I last talked to him he said that there are enough people abroad doing this sort of thing and he did not wish to tread on their turf.

ROFL, Yes well as I said I now blend my own and I know what a litre of VG/PG mix costs me and how much the concentrates cost. Besides there are heaps of e-juice recipes available on line and it is good fun experimenting. I can make mine for about $4.00 AUD a 30 ml bottle and that includes the cost of the bottle.

I will share a favourite of mine: RY4 + Vanilla+Cinnamon+ Caramel absolutely delicious blend in equal portions. Good Ry 4 is hard to come by and I get mine from a site called Juice Factory. Sorry do not know if he will post overseas.

Another good one is Strawberry with Pie Crust juice, I call mine Strawberry Short cake. The Pie Crust takes away the excessive sweetness of Strawberry.
