Hi all,

Was looking for a carto tank for my Provari, and came across the Trap tank from Kir Fanis. I was also considering getting the ring they make for the Provari to give it a more complete look. The question I have (and I apologize if this happens to be a re-post) is does the ring have vent holes, or are there any venting issues with the tank + ring combo? Thanks in advance for your replies!

I just PM'd a forum member who has the Trap Tank and the ring from Kir Fanis. He stated the bottom of the Trap Tank has a air channel cut into it eliminating my concerns of air flow. Otherwise I would have used your suggestion for drilling holes in it. Thanks for the suggestion. I may have to use that at some point with a different tank lol.

Depends on the ring and fit. There are several versions.

One poster just asked about issues with No air flow.

The rings are a nice touch for finishing off a Genny style tank with Side air hole.
You can always make your purchase and have 2 1mm holes drilled in the ring.

IDK if you saw the tanks Kir Fanis makes specifically for the Provari but one of them has the ring built into it... Prive Special tank I believe.

Yeah, I've seen the Prive-Special. Unfortunately from what I've heard, those were a limited run and no longer available. Every time I'm on their site it's 'out of stock'. I've sent them an email inquiring if it really was a limited run but haven't heard back yet. The Trap Tank is the backup option if I'm unable to get a Prive-Special.

I have both, no problems with air flow, as stated above the Trap has air grooves.
