Trash-Canned my Kayfun Lite (clone) .. Cheapest place to buy an original?

I am fed-up!

Wouldn't you know it ... My guess is out of all the kayfun Lite clones out there, only about 3% of them are manufactured with 4 juice channels (and I am one of the unlucky one's to get one of the 3%).

Well, today was the final straw. I got so tired of this thing flooding, gurgling and juice coming out of that small air hole that I got ...... and threw the damned thing in the trash!

I tried everything ... small cotton wicks, long cotton wicks, silica wick, covering the juice channels with wick, not covering the juice channels with wick, filling though the fill screw, filling from the top, using thick 100% VG juice, using thin 100% PG juice, checking the O-ring seal in the center of the top cap, making sure the chimney was not loose, attempting to plug 2 of the 4 juice channels, praying to God, praying to Allah and even praying to Buddha !!

I am done ... I am finished ... I have been defeated !

Does anyone know where I can order a REAL Kayfun Lite for a fair price ... Guaranteed NOT to be a clone?

I read once where someone bought a real one for about $100 bucks from someplace.

Maybe they are out of stock everywhere?

I don't understand how the "real thing" ain't going to be any better. The "real thing" don't have 4 juice channels cut in it either.

I see that Vaperev used to have these, but they are sold out at the moment.

However, I don't like buying anything from a company that won't even put there phone number on there website. To contact them, you need to send them a comment (from there web page) ... BS!

he is saying to send it to him instead of pitching it .maybe he can get it to work instead of wasting away in the trash .some people just cant build its just the way it is :] it too me months to get a good build that actually worked. Or take a breath and try to build some other time.

Did you try filling 2 of the channels with hot glue? Or 2 coils, adjust your airflow? If these would never work right nobody would buy an aqua. You just gotta know how to set it up correctly. When ordering a kayfun clone be sure your ordering a tobeco, or EHPro. For 3.1 hcigar. Always look closely at the pictures and if not sure ask the seller.

Edit: never mind just read your other thread. Just fill in the other 2 channels then it'll work like a regular

I can link you too a genuine KFL+ in stock , it will run you about $110 shipped , I'll give you the link but first the Aqua has 4 channels cut for dual coil builds and works on a similar vacuum system to the Kayfuns , the main reason for flooding in a Kayfun is loss of vacuum , check all your threads and o-rings , a tiny burr left over can cause an o-ring not to seat properly or threading not to mesh correctly , use magnification and examine everything closely , also use a little eliquid on all the o-rings to help get you a better seal , I hope this helps you . Just got my cloned Russian91 yesterday. Using the plastic tank, damn thing lost the last of my good juice thru the airhole while i wasn't watching. Ran back to ECF looking for answers. Idiot that I am, rechecked the fittings, added the ring washers to the plastic tank. Dumbass! Works great now, now that I have pressure. Posters explained importance of getting rings/connections tight.

For clarification to my above post I should have added that an Aqua can be built in a single coil configuration to conserve juice without flooding despite having 4 channels that's why it's relevant and a pointer to your problem lying elsewheres . As of yesterday intaste was selling the KFL+ for $82.32 US dollars plus shipping , they ship Fedex so depending on which option you choose shipping can be as low as $15 . The $82.32 is with the 19% VAT tax removed , US residents don't pay VAT tax .

Here is another thing I didn't like about the clone ... Look how poorly machined the threads are on it:

The problem with buying these clones is ... you just never know what your going to get.

But, the Chinese can in fact make good threads ... Look how nice the threads look on the center post, even when highly magnified. Nothing at all resembling the poor quality of the threads on the base.

Damn! Someone forgot to change the tooling on the machine.
Center post is machined with a die that's why it's nicer.
What's in your air hole on the center post?

OK I see what you're talking about those channels are HUGE and in the wrong place and the threads are horrible, contact your vendor and try to get some resolution on it if you can . I can also give you a link for an HCIGAR Kayfun clone that I and many others in the HHV subforum have gotten excellent results from, if not get the genuine KFL+ from intaste, you can't go wrong there . No it has to exceed $200 before you have to pay a duty tax on it . Intaste is a solid vendor you'll have no problems going that route .

What's the difference on the number of channels, Aqua has 4 channels and smokes, you could be doing something wrong with your build, that's why I asked you to post a pic

I don't have a photo of the build with the wick installed, but I did it just like all so many of these videos show.

If I were you, before spending the money I would work on getting the clone working, most are saying the clones are close to the original, including myself.
