Do you guys take your favorite mods with you everywhere you go? My current favorite is still my Silver Vein, Silver bullet. When I go on a day or 2 camping trip I tend to leave it at home. I don't want to run the risks of anything happening to it. I just take with me 2 ego twists. I find when I'm camping I don't vape as much, I'm out doing stuff with friends so there's not a ton of down time. Same goes for flying if I'm not checking in a bag. I don't want the TSA taking any of my mods

When away for the weekend I take a P-18 with extra 18650 batteries. With the large batteries it just makes it easier not having to worry about my next "charging" opportunity.

i haven't heard of an airline that prohibits taking pvs on the plane. the tsa definitely does not have the right to take any pvs, apvs or not.
i carry my two apvs with me everywhere i go. i don't go camping often, so i have no idea what my game plan there would be. probably would buy a couple extra batteries and rely on my vmod more heavily.

HAS anyone lost an APV to the TSA? This is some expensive equipment, and I've never seen any TSA rules about it...and with their Gestapo-like powers, is there any recourse if they DO?

ya. you respectfully make a stink at their illegal seizure of your belongings and take the issue further up the food chain.
a thread was made months ago where a member of the ecf was jerked around by tsa and was made to check his pv in his checked luggage. ultimately the incident resulted in an apology made to the member by someone of more significant authority at the airport.
don't let them push you around!
