did that recently
disassembled it and put it into one of those plastic trays they have for scanning
suddently i had 4 security guys around me .... but guess what, not because i was carrying a potential bomb or something ...
they asked "what is that now ?! "
i said "an electronic cigaret, you want me to asemble it?"
another security guy was shouting "i told you so, e-cig..."
then 2 more came, a female said quite proud "i got one too, but mine is way more realistic, slimmer ... and it even glows!".
all in all very friendly ...
was funny because i was quite excited that it might get confiscated ...

that was from germany to portugal ... on the way back at the portugal airport they didnt even bother ...
but in the usa it might come out differently (body cavity search anyone ? :p )

Why are you all going to extreme lengths, it's not an issue at all. They are allowed on flights, but most won't let you use it. Quit acting like you're doing something wrong. If you use a UFS/iAtty/other tank take that off and put it in your liquids bag (unless it's completely empty). That's it.

I've been through more airports than I can count, US and internationally, and not once had a problem. Been asked what it is a few times, had a provari bomb swabbed once, and that's it.

Amen to that Valsacar! While my 27 years experience gets dated with each passing month, I can tell you that if you look and act like you have something to hide, the greater your chances of having to explain more than is needed! Sure there is always the chance you'll eventually run into someone that is more impressed with his "authority" than what he/she is actually granted but for the most part, normal behavior wont raise any alarms that acting guilty of something would do. :)

When I flew from RFD (Illinois) to Vegas for vapefest I did as Valscar said, just put my UFS with the liquids. I had 2 GGTS, a slim and 5 of my GRIPS all with batteries in and ready to vape. they did not say a word about them. They only stopped me because they were curious of the 1000 atomizers in my bag LOL

oh and I stealth vaped the slim on the plane even though it wasn't allowed (I just blew the vapor down my shirt :) )

Hey Brad, that's a nice avatar you got!!! I took that to a Craft Fair last week-end. Woodworker that did exotic bowls was there. I asked him if he worked in Amboyna Burl. He said no, too hard to get and I pulled that thing out of my pocket. Blew his mind. I think it's your nicest to date. I stealth vape on planes all the time myself. Sat next to a guy on a flight to Belgium last month. I could smell ciggs on his breath so I took my GGTB out and went through the whole spiel. Had him hitting on the thing without a drip tip. We were drinking and giggling like school kids. By the time we landed in Antwerp we had to get Taxis... and he had a car in the lot...Turns out he was the President of a huge corporation. This thing of ours is wonderful. Made lots of friends through vaping

I just flew in August. This is what I did

1. Printed out pictures and descriptions of GGTS, UFS and Iatty from COV site
2. All Batts in ziploc bag
3. All atties in another ziplock bag
4. All juices up to ml limit in ziplock bag
5. Both GGTS not taken apart but separate, UFS separate and Iatty separate all in their holders. No atties on the GGTS

I did get pulled from line both times. The pics and papers were there, they pulled the GGTS to look, explained and all was well. The pics and descriptions saves alot of time and whatever else.
