Traveling Out Of Country With GGTS

I just wanted to post this to find out what some of you think about bringing my GGTS from New York City to Portugal? I am kinda nervous about getting it confiscated or stolen by customs/tsa for any reason. I don't ofcourse see any laws that rule out this device as prohibited item as well. I'm going away for a week on wednesday and don't know if its worth the risk. To lose my #5 GGTS would kill me! I was going to be packing it in my luggage that goes under the plane, not as a carry on. I will be packing my gg slim as well ofcourse as it goes with me everywhere and won't leave home without it. I am going to take it apart and put it in a case. I dont have another 6-7V device and the only other option is to bring the slim only and leave my GGTS at home... I got used to 7.4V and rather use that while out of town and i use it every afternoon till asleep. I'm very confused here, dont mind me~ Also i know there is a section on ECF about traveling with PV's and such but felt better to ask this here knowing most here have GG's and traveled at some point..... Any info would be appriciated!

I've flown with several PVs, including boxmods that looked really sketchy... all strewn about with multiple sets of batteries, cords, chargers... haven't been questioned/asked yet. I'd say something that looked as ornate as the GGTS would be even less of an issue... you may wanna find out about Portugal's respective laws first though.

If you want my well known extreme opinion Keon is to say to them that the device costs 1000 euros and if they lose it you will press charges!!!!!!!

Thanks fellas! I think i have my mind made up.... I'm going to take it apart and separate it in my bag neatly and hopefully when i arrive in portugal and open my bag my GG's are all there and safe & sound. Worst case senario is that i will have to shell out a few hundred dollors to buy them again when i come back to the US...(which i really don't want to do) See thats what happens when you vape a 7V+, Its addicting!!! If i was vaping only 3.7V i would just take my GG Slim and a few 901 e-cigs as a backup .

Yes!!! I wish it was here now for this trip, I would definetly take that anywhere and love 7.2v!!! The GGTS & I7atty with 2 - 3.6v batt's = Vaping Bliss!!! I will let everyone know the outcome when i get back on this post. Wish me and my GG's luck~ HEHEhe

then why even pay for a flight? ...they wont see you on the radar (fly low)...like 5 or 6 18650's should do....heck of a lot cheaper to...good luck

Or maybe i can use my radio controlled plane and just sit on the top and fly myself there~ HEHEHEHEH I have a 5000mah 6 cell lipo that might get me a few miles from my house possibly/...

I will be bringing my GGTS and SLIM in my carry on bag and will let you know how the outcome was when i get down there. I took them both apart and into separate bags with batts/attys and 30ml liquid same as well. I will be returning to NY on tuesday then Wed. back out of country to portugal. I will update this will hopefully some positive results. I hope all goes well and im not stressed anymore after reading the travel with e-cig section of forum. Talk to you all soon!

Well Florida trip went good with no problems with ggs. I am on my way to Portugal and am at the airport now. I put all GGs and checks them in. I just hope its there when I get there. Will update u when I get back: )

Hey everybody, Just got back from my trip to portugal and just wanted to give you guys a update.... I took my GGTS, GG Slim and many batteries and a few 30ml bottles of liquids. I put all of my devices with my checked in luggage rather then carry on to be safe. After going through customs & TSA, all my GG's and accessories were all fine and not confiscated. I used my GGTS all over portugal and even took some photos of me using it in a 13th century castle in "monsaraz" portugal over looking spain~ I will post them soon. Everything worked out fine and while others were smoking their brains out with analogs, i was with my GGTS blowing clouds of vapor!! hehe. All of the portugese people were amazed with the GGTS!!! Worked out great!!! Just make sure you take it apart and pack it away and check it in to avoid any issues i would say~ Nice to be back, hope everyone is doing good! Looks like i missed alot of posts and i will have to catch up~

Welcome back Keon... I'm going to fly to California in May and I'm debating on taking my GGs with me because I don't check bags anymore...
