I wouldn't use it on the tubes because it is way too small to polish large parts
The tip of the fiberglass is only about 3mm
I use it to polish electrical contact parts like:
Axis Post
Connector Center Pin
Button Pin
Contact area of Springs

I didn't take the time to read through the thread. However, IRT brass. I reload my own ammunition. We use sonic cleaners and also corn cob media in a tumbler (avail from the likes of Midway.com etc..) to polish clean our brass prior to reloading. The same is VERY good at cleaning any brass PV parts. Not something to use for polished SS etc though.
