Traveling to South Africa from USA

Greetings to you,

I'll be traveling from the USA to Capetown for the Christmas holidays. I'll be packing my Reo Grand mod, juices and attys, batterys and chargers for the flight.

Should I expect any problems with airlines or customs? I'll be traveling by Dubais airline.

You will have to "sneak vape" as I understand from the main board.
Take it apart and put them in different bags then after assembly, bend over and vape discreetly by keeping it in longer than normal and blow out slowly downwards. Practice it beforehand.
If you get caught, they will not throw you out I don't think. I don't know the Arab law on this but take a parachute in case.
vaping here is not as big as USA so you might get heads turning in non smoking areas in restaurants. So rather go to the loo.

I wouldnt vape on a plane. Vaping might be more popular here in the states but I have never run into another person vaping other than my friends that vape. I wouldnt vape in a store or restaurant either as too many people are antismoking here and I just dont want to spend the time explaining to people, managers and owners why vaping is different.

I guess i was just concerned about getting juice and mods through customs and on planes. I will have a great time here as my daughter, husband and two grandchildren are in Capetown.

I have no experience from flying with my mods or juices, but I have imported stuf from the USA, and no hatels with customs, expept with a pacadge from MN where they have not attached a invoice, and on the waybill it sayd the packadge was worth $30, instad of $300....

I fly in & out of Cape Town to Angola very regularly and I've never been questioned on any of my "equipment" which I carry in my hand luggage. I stealth vape on all flights and in all airports and never had a problem.

Check what the planes rules are about what you can take in carry on luggage and what you can take in the other bag(s).
From my experience you may not take liquids on your person or in your hand luggage but may do so in your other luggage. You may also get some strange questions about your PV if you try to carry it onboard.

Rather take some sleeping pills or take some snuss onboard for the flight.

Once in SA vape away but be prepared to answer some questions. Not that many vapers in SA.

With regard to liquids:
I keep all my liquid in their original 10 ml or 30 ml bottles. This last time I flew with 20 bottles and had no problems.
You are allowed liquid through as hand luggage provided it is in 100 ml bottles which have to be inside a clear plastic zip lock bag and scanned separately.
