Im going on a cruise. I am taking a plane from MacArthur Airport on long island in NY to Florida Fort
Lauderdale airport. If i put a vision spinner, vision charger, and a bottle of 30ml liquid in my checked luggage will I be ok? Also i dont know how cruise ships security works will i be able to bring all that on the cruise ship with out them asking me what it is?

Put all your stuff in your carry on luggage. Bottles of liquids go in clear quart ziplock baggies. I lay my PV on top of my purse as I go through security. I will be traveling in and out of Ft. Lauderdale airport in the next couple of weeks and I anticipate no problems. TSA knows what these are. Some look stranger than others, mine is huge, but as soon as I say E-cig..... no problems.

Do NOT put batteries in checked luggage. That is a big no-no. Everything goes on the plane with me and I travel a lot. I've not had a problem yet. I've flown in and out of Minnesota, Baltimore, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York and three major airports in Florida: Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and West Palm Beach airports.

Have a blast on your trip!! :D

I fly from time to time and have had no problems bringing everything on the plane with me (in my carry-on). If you do that, make sure you put the juice into a quart zip-lock for screening. If you check everything, you shouldn't have any problems. Ecigs are so common now that all (at least most) of the security people know what they are.

that's typically what i bring with me when i travel (spinner or twist, cheap clearo or carto tank, some juice and a charger). when i'm going on a plane, the charger and juice bottle go in my carry-on and the twist and tank go in my pocket. i throw it in the little bin that your wallet and keys go in when you walk through the metal detector, and i've never had any issues. think e-cigs are prevalent enough now that they know what it is.

also, i should mention that i'm the type that ALWAYS gets the "random" search. i have darker skin and features that make it difficult to visually determine my race, and i'm big enough to look intimidating, so if the tsa doesn't even blink when i walk through security with an ego, i'm pretty sure almost anyone will be fine.

I carry my stuff on with the liquid in the baggie. Last time I had a couple of tanks in a different baggie just kind of tossed on top of my stuff. They guy picked it up and looked at it kind of weird, so I just said "electronic cigarette". He said "never seen one that big"...it was a Kanger T3. (They must not be seeing very much stuff!)

Don't put batteries and juice bottles (or filled tanks) in your checked-in luggage - the pressure changes will make them leak. I believe regular batteries (lithium ?) are prohibited in checked-in baggage - but I don't know what's in our PV batteries.

Filled tanks (leave some air in them) and juice bottles should go in your ziploc bag to go through security, just like any other liquids. Depending on the form factor, I would keep the PV itself in an easy-to-reach part of my carry-on, in case they ask to see it.

I flew from LAX to Reagan and back a few weeks ago. Had an EVOD with a filled up tank in my purse and they didn't blink. I had a few sample-sized juice bottles in my ziploc bag. No problems. Could have been shampoo for all they know.
