My wife and I are heading out of town for the day, and I want to be prepared as much as possible for the road. I have my Protank 2 filled up and ready, and I also want to carry my Protank Mini 3.

We are going to be hanging out with our friends Raven (for you metalheads, this would the original NWOBHM band originally from England) who have a gig tonight in Seattle, and this usually involves sitting in a crowded backstage area where it's not too easy to refill a tank on the fly.

Any reason why I can't fill the Protank ahead of time, and toss it into my carrying case? Will it leak if tipped? Sorry of these are dumb questions. I just don't want to dump juice all over the place while in transit.

When I travelled, I carried a PT2 about 1/3 full. I also carried, separately in my carry-on and separate from each other, 2 x 10ML bottles with the labels on. In my checked bag was the rest. I also had my spare MOD in my checked bag. I also put a piece around the lids.

I believe in dispersal when going through enemy checkpoints...:D

How much elevation loss/gain will you do getting there? If none, you should be fine. You could also fill them in the parking lot. Take a couple of paper towels just in case and party on. Hope you have a great time. :)

Thanks, Flamingo! :toast: We won't go any higher than 500 feet in elevation at any point in the trip, so it sounds like we'll be fine. Thanks Everyone!

Technically, it depends on how good the wicking is. A tank is basically a leak plugged with a wick. If you have been previously vaping on it and not getting any gurgling or leakage, it should be good dealing with some jostling. Iv left home with a less then stellar wick and the jostling of having it in my pocket would get it to leak, that is one reason I don`t use factory coils anymore, so I can control this QC issue myself.

A new factory coil should be suspect until you have vaped on it and confirmed that its is sealing well enough to handle some extra giggling.

Best of luck.

with protanks, as long as you can keep them upside down, they won't leak, even with temperature and pressure changes.
