all,
will soon be having the pleasure of visiting canada. first time i've travelled since i stopped smoking (192 days!). it used to be easy...i'd rock up to the airport, buy a large pouch of tobacco, and of i'd go. now...not so simple. i guess it could be simple but i don't work like that. will just have a small carry-on backpack so space is limited...but hey, i don't really need cothes do i?
there are 4 items that i'm certain i'm taking (as well as 2 x 50ml bottles of my DIY blueberry jam).
JAC series-b DNA 75. small, light, flexible, solid.
two RDAs.
vandy vape bonza
and
digiflavor Drop
won't be squonking but just realy like RDAs. one will have a build around 0.16 and the other around 0.4...not sure which will be which yet.
i'll also be taking a
smok TFV12 prince (8ml glass fitted)
and a couple of coils.
now...the other mod...which to choose. i'm not lugging a charger for the 6 x 18650s i'll be taking so that rules out my mech mods :( as i'll have to use the mod to charge them (disclaimer: i would never do this normally. never.). i've narrowed it down to 3. would have liked to use my streampunk but no USB charging on that one.
smok alien 220W. my first powerful mod. does the job but if it got damaged i wouldn't be too upset.
smoant charon TC 218. pretty rugged. good TC. reliable.
smoant charon TS 218. performs great but the touchscreen...would be worried about it getting battered.
i'm just thinking out loud and perhaps have been a bit long winded. sure everyone is familiar with the hardware but put the links in for completeness.
i'm leaning towards the TC 218 as the second loyal companion on my big adventure...but the alien...

Make sure to check the rules about what you are allowed to carry on the plane, and what you are allowed to bring into Canada.
50ml bottles are fine but i actually haven't checked the canadian bringingthingsinthing. will do.
keep your tanks upside down to prevent flooding,
as long as that doesn't mean the plane has to be upside down...

there's certainly nothing mentioned on the restricted items list about liquids with nic or vape gear being brought in.
local laws are summed up here...
Vaping and e-cigarette regulations across Canada
i'll edit the title of the post and maybe some canadian folk can pop in with some info

The real question is if the batteries themselves on the plane. They are after all potentially explosive. Then again so are cell phone batteries, so I don't know.
yeah but just about everything has a battery in it now (not a samsung note user thankfully). 3 will be in the mods and the other 3 in clear cases so easy enough to declare if need be.

If you have the urge to vape, don't go to the restroom. Ask for a blanket if they still give those out, you'll know what to do.
i'll be ok for the 11 hours but wouldn't be a week without my kit!
I wonder what the punishment is for getting caught.
i dread to think these days...won't be an issue...
