Anyone gone through airports with stuff? I'm wondering if I will be met with any resistance and I certainly will NOT throw anything away. I'm just trying to figure out what to take with me b/c I can't be without my stuff. Any advice? Part of me thinks maybe take my cheapy toppers like protanks and a nautilus versus a kayfun? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

handcarry - liquids in the usual clear bag.

Security folks are pretty familiar with it. Some countries banned e-cigs outright. So if going there yr gear could get seized. Best to leave the pricey stuff at home. And this mod that looks like a hand-grenade.... definetely a bad idea when travelling by air.... unless you're into cavity searches and missed flights....

lol you wouldn't happen to know if mexico has banned anything would ya?

I travel all the time and just use 3-1-1 for the juice. I even keep batteries in hand carry with no issues.

Watch out for Mexico. A friend of mine had his e cigs confiscated at customs. Something about the tobacco companies down there getting the government to ban e cigs. Just check before you go. It may have changed.

I had it explained to me by an attorney in Mexico. Some years ago they banned the import and sale of "artificial cigarettes", and somehow this has been extended to include e-cigs. Protection of tobacco sales and taxes is certainly a factor, perhaps as much so as in the US ...

It seems strange to walk into an OXXO or even a 7-Eleven in Tijuana, and not see a single cigalike for sale ...

Mexican Customs is a crap shoot. Technically they can and will confiscate anything that seems unfamiliar (or desireable), if you get the "red light", a random system for determining who gets searched ...

I keep all of my gear on my person when going through Customs to Tijuana. Any search that extended to my pockets would probably lead to some degree of larceny anyway, but that hasn't happened to me since 2007 ...

I haven't traveled out of the country since I've started vaping, but I haven't had much trouble on domestic flights. I try to break everything down for what I'm carrying on and make sure to pack spares in my checked bag. I would HIGHLY suggest emptying and drying out any tanks you're traveling with. The air pressure will cause even a few leftover drops to leak out. Yes... I learned this the hard way.

Yes, be careful of the pressure. I made the mistake of bringing a tank filled with juice in my pocket. During the descent I noticed the leak and had to use the customary regurgitation bag found in the seat pocket to store the leaking mess.

I did however smell like NT custard.:D

Hey, that might be the next "big" thing in vaping; creating a totally stealth vaping unit that doesn't look any like a vaping unit! Maybe lipstick for the women and a box mod made from a Right Guard container....

Somebody might get rich with this idea!!!

We could call it "James Bond Vape Gear!"

There's a coke can one too, but I don't like how the straw looks.

Just a question,

I'm currently on 6mg liquid, and will probably be at 0mg within the next two months or so, (probably). So, what are the regulations on 0mg liquids/vaping in those countries where vaping is banned? I have heard that vaping any liquid containing nicotine is illegal in Japan, but vaping 0mg liquid is legal there.

In the US, they are presently not differentiating between 0nic and liquid that contains nicotine... remains to be seen what the final legislation will look like though - I don't think that will hold up in court.

Thanks Kent. This is part of the reason why I'm slowly going down to 0mg. I just don't know the future. If the future becomes a problem for Vaping, then if I'm on 0mg, I can always mix my own liquid and use Mech Mods. But I do enjoy a little nicotine. Einstein did and no one beat him up about it. I view it as no more than enjoying a good cup of coffee. I would eventually be happy with 0-3mg liquids.

I'm not at all worried about my personal consumption - before the hammer drops I will have enough 100% nic to last 10 lifetimes in the freezer. Undiluted baby.
