Absolutely love mine. Copper contacts do require constant upkeep, but the mod hits very hard when they're clean. Threading is great,mm overall machine quality is a total win, and I like that for 18650 mode, its a full single tube(sold seperately), instead of a 490 tube with extension.

Its a really clean looking mod that hits hard and has a good button. If the 18650 tube was included in the normal price, this would be an epic win. That said, im an 18650 guy myself, and its worth the extra $40 for the tube without a doubt.

I also give it a thumbs up, it's been my main mod since I got it. I like the short throw on the button and it locks with a single twist or less, I did put some nolex on the locking ring to keep it from moving. I'll have to try the contact cleaning method mentioned by JmanEspress.

You know, if I had a complaint, it would be the reverse threaded locking ring.

Turns out, I dont like a reverse threaded locking ring.

Theres nothing wrong with it from a design standpoint though, this is me voicing a person taste issue.


That said, Ive kinda felt this way since I bought it, and Ive used it daily ever since, so.. can't bother me that much

Thanks! I opted to go another direction with the paps X, but my buddy got the tree of life. I look froward to using it and maybe purchasing it myself.
