That looks awesome to me. Not positive who you are saying makes the original but I love yours also. I have one from ePipeMods and other than the brand on the side yours looks every bit as good. Congrats on your original piece. I wish I had the skills myself.
The easiest way is to just get a button from EpipeMods.(they are out of stock).
You can put the spring under battery, and use a wood button. Cut button out with 1 inch hole saw.
Normally, I just use a switch from EPipeMods.
But you can use a spring on the ground plate, and then get a wood plug with a steel plate. Attach a magnet so it sticks to top of battery.
Or spring inside of the plug...but thats a lot of work.
Would you happen to have a more clear picture of the switch? You are really helping me in my quest to gain knowledge. Thanks a lot. Hopefully soon I'll be posting some pics of my efforts.
Would love to do one of these type of buttons on one of m next pipe projects. This is one that I use mostly and am working on one that uses magnets instead of a return spring.
