Tried two systems, getting frustrated with batteries and atomizers.

Been smoking since November of 06. Camel Filters/Marlboro Reds, 2-3 packs a week.

I bought a red dragon a year ago, tried the prefilled carts which worked ok, then tried some totally wicked e-liquid in 24mg concentration which was freakin' awesome because i barely needed to vape at all, got a nice tingly feeling so i never felt like using analogs. I kept noticing that a cart would POP and be useless afterward(blown atomizer)....which sucked royally considering i was only using a few and refilling, but it was bearable. The death blow to my vaping was when batteries stopping holding a charge after about a month:nah: so i ended up buying a pack of camels(thinking it would hold me over till i ordered batts....work went INSANE and i never ordered any).

Last week I bought the Njoy hoping the batteries were compatible......they weren't. I like having a system with an atomizer, dripping seems to produce a lot more vapor, but on the other hand, it is a bit tedious and doesn't make for a quick refill when driving or away from home. It also seems the 24mg liquid is not giving me as much nicotine as the 'regular' njoy carts. Apparently none of the local shops(read, place that has a little lexan container with a couple Njoy starter kits and carts) has a "vaporizer" (atomizer) for the Njoy...i do NOT want to pay fiddy bucks for a whole new starter kit when my atomizer pops. I'm already having problems with the battery not activating on a draw or not heating up when i do get the tip to light....and the batteries aren't lasting like i would have hoped either.

So, after my huge background paragraphs.....here are my questions.
1) Is it likely that the nicotine in the e-liquid decayed and became inert?
2) Would the Toronado(heck, any other vaping system for that matter) be a better choice for my vaping habits? Should I go with a manual battery for a lighter draw?
3) Am I killing the batteries with the way I vape? I'd think out of 4 batteries i've used, one of them might live longer than a month...
4) Any other advice you guys have would be much appreciated.

Sorry if i've been a nuisance, thanks in advance for your advice!

It's possible if the nicotine has been exposed to direct sunlight for a long time, but that's very unlikely.

I am going to assume you bought an NJoy NPro, which is an RN4081 model.

Although I think an RN4081 is a good atomizer, I think you need a manual battery. I think you can get them now, but not sure. If they had manual batteries for RN4081s back when I started I may not ever have even bought my 510 model.

If you can't get a manual battery for an RN4081 then another model would be a good choice.
EDIT: I am finding some online by searching for "RN4081 manual battery"

Should I go with a manual battery for a lighter draw?
You should go for a manual battery, but that is not the reason why.
Check out the thread linked in my signature for a good discussion of these questions.

3) Am I killing the batteries with the way I vape?
You could be killing them by dripping with an automatic battery.
Dripping with an automatic battery is not recommended.

You can do it, and I used to do it, but you have to be very careful.
If juice gets down into the battery it will gunk it up and make it stop working right.

gotcha. really glad to know there are compatible parts out there, that was another thing that concerned me...giving the manual batteries a shot and getting some backup parts. i'll try cleaning the atomiser and see if maybe that has to do with some of my issues.

by the way, is your username DC2 like the DC2 integra chassis?
