Triple hole cartomizers flooding?

I'm pretty sure it's the 3 holes that is causing some of my flooding. I noticed it always flooded on my drive home, I decided that using it in quick succession heats up the liquid and lets it flow a lot faster?

So, I have taken tooth picks, jammed them in 2/3 holes and broken them off, if pushed in enough they will jam and still be able to go past the rubber seal with out a problem on a tank.

Does this seem wise? Maybe I have do some dry drags if it starts to hit light, but I'd rather that than suck up juice every 5 puffs on the way home...

Any comments / suggestions / ideas?

Sad as it is, I've had problems with both the 3-hole variety and the (lately uncommon) 1-hole (MadVapes carries both versions), and I also run into it mostly when chain-vaping. Thicker juice does seem to help, but I generally vape 50/50, and I've managed to flood single-hole cartos with 100% vg, so there are other things going on as well. I suspect heat thinning (yes, I just made that up), as the worst offender (for me) is a skinny Smoktech tank with chrome caps that get REALLY warm when I vape heavy. I've gone to strictly thicker (larger diameter) tanks with plastic caps, which seem to heat up - and flood - less. Also, taking the carto off the pv and running a straightened paperclip through it sometimes helps to "reseat" the filler against the inside of the carto, which helps me in some cases.

I'm flying blind here too; hopefully some more experienced tank users will chime in -

I have a few triple hole tank cartos (1.7 ohm) that have worked great with 60/40, 50/50 and 40/60 ratios on a KGO. The single hole cartos (3 ohm) that I use have not been a problem either at those ratios, but do use them at higher voltages obviously. I would also note that I do vape fairly heavily while using a tank setup. I have yet to have had any flooding, whether single or 3 holes, unless I am away from my liquid and the tank gets too low.

Had bad experience with 3-hole cartos, too. They flooded on me all the time. I went back to one-hole onces, most of the time I will punch a second hole myself. 2 holes work just fine for me, one hole is sometimes not enough depending on the VG content of my juices. Myfreedomsmokes also offers 2.5 ohm cartos dual coil cartos with 2 prepunched holes. I have several of them and they work great, I just ordered some more yesterday. Here's the link if you're interested:

The 1.5's have 1 hole, the 2.5's are with 2 holes.

Thanks so much for the "reseat the Filler tip" it has saved so many cartos for me
