Triton tanks on other Batteries/Mods

Very happy using my Triton system and Like the way the Triton tanks perform. Just wondering, since I have other batteries and mods, is there an adapter available so that I can use my Triton tanks on other batteries/mods, e.g. ego batteries or SVD VV mods?

Unfortunately, I have yet to see a vGo to eGo thread adapter, which is what you would need. If there was a small magnetic spacer to raise the battery center post on a 510/eGo connection to meet the shorter center post on the Triton tank, that might work.

Triton tanks do not fire on my ego/510s. T2s, which are very much like the Tritons and have the same heads, work on both. The T2 does not screw all of the way onto a Triton battery leaving a 1/4 inch or so gap. Unfortunately, I have not found a 510 to 808/ego adapter.

Thanks for the response, I haven't found an adapter too in my quest. Just like the way the Triton tank performs.

The Triton tank is either a Kanger T2 clone or is OEM'ed for Halo by Kanger. If you really like the tank and want to use it on different style batteries/mods, the T2 is available in places with eGo threading.

Some Kanger T2's actually fit the Halo battery without the need for an adapter. I had 3 Kanger T2 tanks before my Triton Set arrived, and since the T2's look exactly the same as the Triton Tank, I tried to fit the T2's I had into the Triton battery. Two of them fit, while the other would not fit at all. I was a bit perplexed by this, it would have been nice if they all fit.

I took the Triton battery to the local B&M store and I had them take out 10 T2 batteries to attempt to fit them into my Triton. Only 3 out of ten fit.

As for my other Kanger Tanks (EVOD, T3, MT3s etc) none of them fit the Triton at all, far from it, but sure some of the T2's do... it will not thread in completely, but they do work and I have used them for months now with no issue.

Yes, the Triton tank looks very similar to the T2. Unfortunately, I have several Triton tanks that I would like to use on other Mods/Batteries. e.g. SVD, Provari. Just did not want to be limited to Halo batteries. My quest for some sort of adapter continues. Thanks for the help.

That's because you need a 808 to 510 adapter. The one in the link is the reverse.

Hmm, tried that too and still does not work. Seems like the Halo Triton tanks only work with Halo triton batteries.

Triton is vGo threaded, not eGo.

The outer thread is common to eGo and vGo, but the top thread on eGo is a 510, and the top thread on vGo is 808 (KR-808D-1).

I don't think anyone's ever found a vGo to eGo/510 adapter.

Newbie here, looking for clarification. Have been using the kr808d-1 battery system (cigeasy, cigeasy elite 808) and was thinking my next upgrade would be a Halo VV. Will my cartos/tanks fit the Halo battery? I would pick up a Halo battery charger at the same time so that is not a problem. TIA!

Come on over to the Halo side, you won't regret it
Your stuff looks like it would all fit on the G6 or small threads on the Triton, wait till you try a Triton Tank which uses the larger threads.

Yep, I used to have an Elite 808 and both the carts and tanks are compatible with the G6 and Triton batteries.
