I've been vaping for a little over a year now. I've tried several tanks and batteries to this point. For tanks, I started on the C4 and them went to the Evod. I recently purchased a Smok Trophy Tank and have noticed that all of my liquids now taste weird. It's hard to describe. They all have a weird plastic/ oily type of flavor. I can barely taste the flavor that the liquid is supposed to be. I was under the assumption that I pyrex tank was supposed to be a better flavor experience. Did I miss something? After the first few hits, I decides to dump the tank and thoroughly clean it to make sure that there weren't any manufacturing oils that needed to be cleaned out. But the strange taste is still there. I have tried several different liquids with the tank, and the taste is still there. Always the same weird flavor to it. Any ideas about what might be going on? I'm at the point where I'm about to go back to my Evod. Thanks for the help!

Does this taste anything like rubber or burnt rubber? If you are using too high of a voltage you could be over heating an insulator. It's always a good idea to clean your tanks and attys before using them to get rid of any machine oil. Since you did that already I'm thinking hot insulator. Pyrex glass is the best. You should be getting a very clean taste with that.
