I'm trying very diligently to make perfect and sugary tropical e-juices.

I've determined I love banana and coconut a LOT.
I expect I will love watermelon also..

Hula Girl by Islander is amazeballs I want to make things that taste like this! Like watermelon jolly ranchers with a coconut twist and such.

So.. IDK.. I need bananas? Coconuts? Watermelons? Non-vanilla creamy flavors?

It's not exactly what you're describing, but my favorite sweet juice is a twisted version of a Pina Colada that has some of the flavors you're looking for. I use TFA Pina Colada, TFA Pineapple, TFA Sweet Cream, and TFA Jamaican Rum in my recipe, and I can't get enough of the stuff. I've also made batches with a touch of mango, banana, and dragonfruit mixed in for a little change too. The Pina Colada already as the coconut in there, and I'm sure watermelon would splice in there just fine.

My usual mix is 9% Pina Colada, 4% Sweet Cream, 1.5% Pineapple, and .5% Rum in a 15% flavoring batch. I just add and subtract wherever I feel like that day.

Haven't had that, but Lorann's Watermelon is one of the flavorings closest to Jolly Rancher style Watermelon I know of.

I haven't tried these yet, cause missing a flavor, not quite my profile, and been burned before by mixing things that taste like suntan lotion (if I taste suntan lotion I'd better be licking it off someone, tbh, and even then...,) but a lot of people seem to like ID10-T's If You Like Piña Coladas and Mango Colada .

I'll vouch for the flavors used in those that I have, and Bull City has the latter as a discounted "community pack" if you want to order all the flavors at once: Mango Colada By ID10-T (Discounted Full Recipe) . Those flavors should get you off to a good start, but I'd also look at FLV's Wild Melons and Pink Guava (and likely Guanabana, though I don't have that yet.) And of course there are a zillion other tropical flavors... well, mixing can be a bit like Pokemons, except it costs you money every time you catch one ;).

Personally, I liek mudkips.

I really wish some of the more well known mixers ( and ID10-T is apparently one ) would publish more recipes that don't require three different coconuts or three different pineapples etc... It's really annoying for someone like me who would like to mix tasty juice, but doesn't want to have an inventory of 500 flavors, the majority of which will barely be touched. Sorry for the rant :). I actually made a simpler version of Mango Colada which was pretty tasty !

I mean no offense, but I do want to point out that I'd rather not be constrained in what I can mix by what you have or can afford (are flavors really a significant expense for anyone living in the first world anyway?)

That said, ID10-T is also responsible for releasing https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/6487 which is about as low-rent as it gets.

You can DIY successfully with just a few flavors. If you want to mix up every hipster recipe, well, you are going to have to buy some flavors.

No offense taken. I fail to see how my wishes or economic situation ( as you perceive it ), would have any impact on your DIY endeavors. I just stated what i would like to see more of, from some of the more well known mixers. Thanks for the link.

You're the one complaining about people posting recipes that you don't have the ingredients for: "It's really annoying for someone like me who would like to mix tasty juice, but doesn't want to have an inventory of 500 flavors"

I have a fair number of recipes you might like that use flavors you probably have, and I'd be happy to share them, but I'm not going to limit myself to using the flavors you have, right? I'm going to come up with recipes that use the flavors _I_ have, flavors I bought specifically so that I could make those recipes, and if you don't have them that's just too bad.

I think if you look a bit harder you'll see that most of the best-known mixers have posted simple recipes as well as complicated recipes that require seven niche flavors. Make those. If you're really annoyed that you can't make a recipe with what you have... honestly, in the US it's very hard to see how getting the ingredients for a recipe could possibly cost you more than 5-10 dollars + shipping.

Excellent. Thank You.

That's a very graceful response, and I appreciate it.

I do understand your frustration with the _endless_ procession of flavors you'd need to acquire to stay up to date with the hipster recipe brigade. It's just that... no one has all of those flavors, and no one makes all of the recipes people post. You just look at them and think "Welp, that sounds good, so next time I order I might get this and that."

And, if you're not careful, you'll wind up with flavors you'll never use- I have a drawer-full. Unfortunately you almost have to do a bit of that to find out what you like. It's still way less expensive than buying commercial juice, over time.

I know all to well the feeling of to many flavors that sit dormant in a draw. I have 200+ flavors and use maybe 15 consistently. But you'll never find what you like if you don't invest. My biggest problem is finding the time to revisit my idle flavors and maybe come up with something new and exciting. It's always nice to know you have the flavors on hand or something close to it when you come across that new recipe that peaks your interest.
