I can't seem to make the switch. It's as if I am married to my Pen with the automatic battery. I have tried to use the 510 with manual battery and just can't seem to develop a knack for it. I find it awkward & uncomfortable.

I suppose it's very different if your first e-cig had a manual battery.

How long did it take you to adjust ??

I went the other way around from manual to automatic.

I found that you couldn't hold an manual like an analog beause of the button. You have to hold it like a flute, to press the button. For that reason I now prefer automatic.

I bought a manual 1st because everyone was saying they are the greatest. You get more control and get more vape. However the way I vape is, I almost always take a primer puff, manual or auto, so taking that primer puff, fires up the auto before I take my drag, much the same as what the manual guys are doing pressing the button early to kinda pre-heat and get a better drag.

I say to each their own, someone might prefer apples to oranges, and tell you that, but it doesn't mean you will.

I started with the manual from day one. I like full control of how long I want a draw to last. I like great performance and a lot of vapor. I also don't want my battery to die from leaking fluid. I have one automatic and it has hardly been used. My next mod I will cut it up for parts.

I started with a manual and didn't find it awkward at all. Of course you can't hold it like a traditional smoke which lead me to buy some automatic batteries to try out. The only time it's sort of uncomfortable is when I'm on the CPU or driving. I had the habit of flicking my first automatic battery as if I was ashing it, which I'm convinced lead to it's death.
