I LOVE my new mechanical mod (this is my first mechanical and my first rda) and I am having some trouble with my button. It seems to catch on the edges of the bottom of the tube if I am not applying direct pressure to the button. I tried using my dremel to smooth out the edges on the tube in hopes it would not catch as much and it is better, but still catches about 35% of the time. I also tried using some Vaseline to lube up the button, but no noticeable change in performance.

I was wondering if any other Nemi users out there have the same issue and what if anything can be done to help solve the issue.

Thanks in advance.

longer rice pin and make sure the throw isnt too long. I know if my throw is longer than like 3mm, the button is catchy and crunchy. but a 2mm throw max makes good contact and no crunchiness.

Umm.......No
Rice pin is not to be longer than spec. It cannot extend above the Deck or the contact pin will not tighten properly. Rice pin cannot extend lower as the groove it rest in is end tapered.

Yes, Minimize Throw.
Possibly replace rice pin with thicker pin or plastic wire(weed wacker)

Your choice in Nemesis could be a low grade unit with to much slop in machining.
*it is not always the switch. Some tubes are off.

I had to get a longer rice pin in mine cuz if I unscrewed the center pin too much the pin would fall out, and cause the switch to go crunchy. its possible also my clne had a shorter rice pin than normal.

But then again, I've had my nemesis for a year and a half and its my main mod =P So I know what works for me and mine.
