trouble with turbos?

I think either I got some bad one's or there is something I'm doing very wrong....I fill my blanks and they taste great, until it's time to refill them. I use the cap to fill them, fill the cap almost full then put the carto in battery end first and let it soak up the juice. When I go to refill, they leak and they taste burnt...almost always after the 2nd or 3rd fill. And, my other carto's don't fit on the vapor canon, the get stuck 90% screwed on. I'm pretty certain Ben told me I could use the carto's I had with the canon...I'm back to using my defender, but the battery charge barely lasts a couple of hours. Someone please help me, I'm getting very frustrated here. What am I missing? Is there some special way to fill turbo's - I notice they are different than other cartos I've used as the wire doesn't poke out the top of the filler like the others, so is there a difference in how to fill them?

Hi Kricket- Try just dripping down the inside of them rather than the cap method. Then hold it and flick it like a thermometer so it forces the liquid down.. Continue filling until it's fairly saturated but not soaking. This is the method I use and get great results. Let us know if that works for you.
